Today you can check out Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode in the first trailer from FREUD'S LAST SESSION movie! Set on the eve of the Second World War, it depicts a meeting between Freud and Narnia writer C.S. Lewis, at the psychoanalyst’s London home, during which they debate the existence of God. The film also explores Freud’s unique relationship with his daughter Anna (Liv Lisa Fries) and Lewis’ unconventional relationship with his best friend’s mother. The stellar cast also has Orla Brady, Jeremy Northam and Stephen Campbell Moore who plays Tolkien. The film should arrive to cinemas this Christmas.

DOCUDRAMA AT NETFLIX

It has not been confirmed yet officially by Netflix itself, but rumour has it that they have a 100 men strong team currently over in Morocco, actually since last summer, shooting a new hybrid docudrama on ALEXANDER THE GREAT which will feature both scripted and unscripted elements. Tony Mitchell is the show runner for Tailfeather Productions and Lion TV.

It will be a stellar cast: Adrien Brody, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Alessandro Nivola, Felicity Jones will lead Brad Corbet's period set movie THE BRUTALIST which chronicles thirty years of an artist’s life. When visionary architect László Toth (Brody) and his wife Erzsébet (Jones) flee post-war Europe to rebuild their legacy in America, a mysterious and wealthy client (Pearce) ends up changing their lives forever. The biopic is already shooting in Hungary!

The most expensive drama ever made by the U.S. streaming company and its first to be made in the UK, will trace the life of Queen Elizabeth II from her wedding in 1947 to the present day. It is expected to span 60 episodes over 6 seasons, with always unconvincing Claire Foy playing the Queen in the early part of her reign. Matt Smith plays her husband prince Philip, Jared Harris is King George VI, Vanessa Kirby will play queen's sister princess Margaret. John Lithgow will be British prime minister Winston Churchill, with Greg Wise portraying Lord Mountbatten. Jeremy Northam and Ben Miles also star. Oscar winner Stephen Daldry is directing some of the episodes!

Poster Saturday, people, with some new ones for the upcoming films, starting with THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY which is out this April in UK starring Dev Patel as Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyengar who, after growing up poor in Madras, India, earns admittance to Cambridge University during WWI, where he becomes a pioneer in mathematical theories with the guidance of his professor, G.H. Hardy (Jeremy Irons). Jeremy Northam, Stephen Fry and Toby Jones round up the stellar cast of British thespians.

In 1959, a young journalist ventures to Havana, Cuba to meet his idol, the legendary Ernest Hemingway who helped him find his literary voice, while the Cuban Revolution comes to a boil around them.
