lovers who fall for each other one lazy summer and separate in the end, but I liked the film well enough (although God's Own Country from the same year was inarguably massively superior and deserved the success that Call Me By Your Name got much better) and now it has been confirmed that Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet will be back for the sequel which will be based on Andre Aciman's follow up novel FIND ME.

In it, Elio’s (Timothee Chalamet) father, Samuel (Michael Stuhlbarg), is on a trip from Florence to Rome to visit Elio, who has become a gifted classical pianist. A chance encounter on the train with a beautiful young woman upends Sami’s plans and changes his life forever. Elio soon moves to Paris, where he, too, has a consequential affair, while Oliver (Armie Hammer), now a New England college professor with a family, suddenly finds himself contemplating a return trip across the Atlantic. Luca Guadagnino will again helm the movie.

  As 'Deadline' reports, as the son of the first noble to support William Wallace when he fomented the first movement toward independ- ence from the English, Douglas saw his father’s lands given away, and after being denied them by the English king, he joined Robert the Bruce as an outcast properly motivated to avenge his loss. Together, they learned guerilla fighting tactics that led to years of surprise attacks, sacked castles and, finally, independence. David Mackenzie is directing.

'THE DEEP' MERMAID SERIES

Meanwhile, FreeForm is rounding up its cast for their new mermaid fantasy series THE DEEP! The story will be set in Bristol Cove, a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn, as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. Eline Powell will play the girl, Ryn, while Alex Roe will take the male lead as a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to her. Fola Evans Akingbola will play a marine biologist who works with Ben and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun plays Xander, a          deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth and Rena Owen is Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on.
