THE LORD'S DAY
TIMOTHY SPALL JOINS NETFLIX SERIES
Netflix keeps on adding to their cast of the TV series adaptation of Michael Dobbs' book THE LORD'S DAY. We already know that Damson Idris will play British spy Harry Jones who, on the State Opening of Parliament, finds himself inside the iconic building amidst a lockdown. As the
siege escalates, loyalties are tested and selfless sacrifices are made, leading to a desperate fight for survival where not everyone will emerge alive. Can Harry use his skills and training to be the country’s saviour? Now Timothy Spall, Harry Lawtey, Gemma Whelan have been added to the cast as well!

Don't know any other names except Timothy Spall, whom I always associate with Peter Pettigrew in Harry Potter.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if he will play the king who is opening the parliament.
DeleteLooks like a powerful cast! Lately, I've been watching soft BL dramas (relative short) on YouTube. Cat for Cash was sweet with a little grit. I just started Mr. Kill which is much more of a serial killer thriller about a manga artist. These are from Thailand.
ReplyDeleteI had to google what is BL drama. I approve! I watched some Asian LGBT films, some were quite lovely, but South Americans make them best, especially Argentina and Chile.
DeleteThis sounds entertaining. I'll have to watch out for it.
ReplyDeleteShould be a suspenseful one.
DeleteSo interesting that the cast keeps growing.
ReplyDeleteAnd quite a nice cast too.
DeleteIt does look like a very good cast.
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteGracias por la reseña. Tomó nota. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteBe welcome
DeleteHello, Dezmond! I am sorry but I don't know these names of American actors.
ReplyDeleteAnd once again, none of them is American, they are all British.
DeleteI wonder how long it takes before they do a movie about the lockdowns from here on Jan 6th storming of the capitol. I just want to see the guy carting off Nancy's podium. I'd consider that a highlight of my career if I were the actor cast in that part LOL
ReplyDeleteI would play him for free, that was one of the highlights of my life when they started robbing that bitch's office.
