Although I cannot say that I liked the first season, MGM Plus has renewed their ROBIN HOOD epic series for season two which has started production in Serbia and has added James Purefoy, Colin O'Donoghue and Luke Roberts to the cast in the royal roles as the new season will see the arrival of King Henry (Purefoy), Prince Richard (O’Donoghue) and the
ambitious Amaury D’Montfort (Roberts), who will reshape the political landscape, forcing Rob and his allies to navigate shifting loyalties, royal power struggles and dangerous new threats. In the new season we will visit the treacherous courts of England, France, and Rome, with the outlaw rebellion
transformed into a high stakes battle for the soul of a kingdom. As the Angevin empire threatens to tear itself apart, Rob and Marian are drawn into the orbit of kings and queens, forced to wield the very instruments of Norman power to secure a future for the Saxons. Jack Patten, Lauren McQueen, Sean Bean, Lydia Peckham, Steven Waddington and Connie Nielsen all return.

Robin Hood again? I wonder how many versions out there...
ReplyDeleteNot a lot, but this one was not really good, I am currently watching it and it is mildly boring and often miscast, the leads have zero charisma.
DeleteThe last Robin Hood series I watched was back in 2006. They just aren't all that interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteThis new one is not good, I watch it only because it is being shot in my country, but it is bland. They are now here again shooting while it is over 40C outiside, they did the same last summer and you could see it on their faces because in season one all their faces are melting, sweaty, red from sun LOL Imagine wearing medieval costumes and capes and armours while it is 50C in the sun in Serbia LOL
