THE WAR IS STILL BREWING IN BEER BREWERS HISTORICAL TV SAGA OKTOBERFEST 1905 SECOND SEASON WITH KLAUS STEINBACHER

   OKTOBERFEST 1905
A SEQUEL TO GERMAN EPIC TV SAGA
I have no idea how I wasn't informed about this, I even find it scandalous, but it seems that one of our favourite of Netflix historical dramas OKTOBERFEST: BLOOD AND BEER which streamed on
The second season aired in Germany last Autumn
the streamer back in 2020, actually got a sequel or a second season OKTOBER FEST 1905 recently but done only by German network ARD without the assistance of Netflix. It aired last Autumn in Germany and I hope we will manage to find it somewhere to watch it as I really liked the first season. Our lovely Klaus Steinbacher returns as Roman Hoflinger alongside Misel Maticevic and Martina Gedeck. The story of the series, which followed the rise of rival beer producers and their war which turned Oktoberfest beer festival into a bloody battlefield, returns five years later, and the brewery clan conflicts still persist. Curt's ambitious plans create tension with his son-in-law Roman, while a potential new rival emerges. Check out the trailer below and send us a message if you find this second season available for download somewhere.

  1. Don't care about either beer or Oktoberfest...when I still drank alcohol, wine was a favourite.

    3. It was a superb series, I can't believe you did not like it, a bit too violent for my taste, but still good and the trailer promises an even better second season. But you have a tendency to dislike Deutsch serien, I remember you also hated Sisi, Empress and Barbarians, and Sisi was the most beautiful costume drama ever made and Barbarians were also fun and good.

  3. I don't recall seeing this on Netflix, but we did numb our minds with the likes of Tiger King on Netflix in 2020 LOL.

    1. Their German series are hit or miss, but I did actually like this one for some reason. The reason could be Klaus.

  5. Hello, DEZMOND! Yesterday I watched the first episode of "История его служанки" (I don't know how to translate it correctly into English; there are so many options).
What a fascinating life the Russian nobles led! They gambled their estates away, and their wives and children became destitute. Anna Averina is destined to marry the wealthy Nifontov, who's old enough to be her father. And her brother Roman can't marry his girlfriend, Yulia Spitsyna, because the Averinas are broke.
Anna and Roman are lucky that Nikolai Sheremetyev, a war hero, arrived from St. Petersburg.
The 19th century meant the Napoleonic Wars, when all the European countries, led by France, attacked Russia.

    1. Wish I could watch it, sounds like a great watch! I consider Napoleon another Hitler, do not know why he is not treated as such. But just like the Nazis, he broke his tooth on Russian ice.
