DEAR ENGLAND TRAILER
WITH JOSEPH FIENNES IN THE LEAD
Hitting BBC One next Sunday, May 24th is four part mini series DEAR ENGLAND a fictionalised account of Gareth Southgate’s time
managing the England men’s football team. With the worst team track record for penalties in the world when he takes over as manager, Gareth knows he
needs to open his mind and face up to the years of hurt to take England back to the promised land. The country that gave the world football has delivered a
painful pattern of loss. Why can’t the England team win at their own game? Joseph Fiennes takes the lead role with Will Antenbring as Harry Kane.

I had to watch the trailer no matter what because I honestly couldn’t picture Joseph Fiennes as the England football manager either I really like him as an actor, but he definitely wouldn’t have been my first choice to play Southgate.
ReplyDeleteThat said, the trailer has something, and I admit it made me curious. And with your posts it always happens the same way, Dezmond: you go in thinking “I’ll just have a quick look” and end up adding half the shows and movies to your watchlist .
And today, being Monday, you get my daily 8-second hug
But in the end he turned out perfect as Southgate, they even gave him a fake nose :) Returning the 8 second hug!
DeleteUn viaggio assurdo e irresistibile dove l’Inghilterra diventa il rimorchio perfetto per una risata.
ReplyDeleteBuona settimana
Buona settimana, Silvia
DeleteI surely would love to watch this one. Not a fan of Harry Kane, even though he now plays for Bayern.
ReplyDeleteBut the actor that plays him is hot as hell.
DeleteMeu sobrinho adora jogo, vou mostrar pra ele, legal a série quem gosta de futebol não pode perder, Dezmond feliz semana abraços.
ReplyDeleteHope he will manage to catch it somehow.
DeleteI'm not a big fan of shows about sports.
ReplyDeleteSports are terrible, but the sportsmen are hot.
DeleteI really don't like shows or movies revolving around sports...unless it is bowling! LOL! Seriously, though, I have seen a couple of such movies but I didn't enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing, Dezmond! I hope you have a wonder filled week ahead!
Some of them can be fun, remember Ted Lasso?
DeleteDezmond, I'm not a football fan.
ReplyDeleteI am not either, Irina
