FIRST CITADEL TRAILER
FROM PRIME VIDEO SERIES
Prime Video has released first trailer for global spy series CITADEL which arrives April 28th! Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency,
tasked to uphold the safety and security of all people, was destroyed by operatives of Manticore, a powerful syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows. With Citadel’s fall, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives. They’ve remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts. Until one night, when Mason is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Mason seeks out his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love. Lesley Manville plays Dahlia Archer, the British Ambassador to the United States, whose loyalties may lie elsewhere. Episodes will stream weekly after a two episode premiere.

I really like her so maybe I'll check it out at some point.
ReplyDeleteCould be good!
DeleteWhere did I know this Richard Madden? Anywant, Stanley Tucci is always a treat :-)
ReplyDeleteMadden has been leading series for a decade now, he was the lead in Medici Masters of Florence, Clondike, Game of Thrones, Bodyguard...
DeleteJust googled it, I first knew him from Bodyguard with Keeley Hawes.
ReplyDeleteThat was his biggest success so far.
DeleteDoesn't look half bad from the trailer. I don't watch these types of movies much anymore, usually opting for comedy or rom com, but I'd watch this on movie night with Jason.
ReplyDeleteThis ain't a movie, deary, but a series LOL
DeleteSeries, movies, limited runs. They get called movies when Jason’s involved because we usually watch 2 or 3 episodes and it feels like sitting through an entire movie.
DeleteLimited series is an American phrase, methinks, it used to be known as mini series, but Hollywood had to stick a new name to it.
DeleteOf course they did. They’re a whole category on Netflix dedicated to “limited series”. Always trying to reinvent the wheel.
DeleteThere is also an event series, that is another term for limited one methinks.Mini series probably sounds offensive and diminutive.
