OLIVER JACKSON COHEN JOINS ELIZABETH MOSS AS THE INVISIBLE MAN IN THE NEW ADAPTATION IN UNIVERSAL'S MONSTER FRANCHISE

'INVISIBLE MAN' HIRES
OLIVER JACKSON COHEN AS LEAD
Oliver Jackson Cohen is set to lead the film
A philosophical question for you today: should you rejoice if one of your favourite actors gets the lead role in a major film but is set to play an invisible man? What are you to feast your eyes on, then? That is exactly our predicament, but we are still very happy for our dearest Oliver Jackson Cohen who just got a major gig at Universal. He will take the lead role in their INVISIBLE MAN which will start shooting this month in Australia. The cast already includes Elizabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Harriet Dyer and Storm Reid!

Oliver Jackson Cohen is one of our favourite faces which has graced so many big historical series from World Without End and Dracula to Mr. Selfridge, The Great Fire, Emerald City, and probably our favourite of his work - Man in an Orange Shirt in which he shined brightly next to another of our faves Julian Morris.

In the adaptation of H.G. Wells' novel, Elizabeth Moss will be Cecilia, who receives the news of her abusive ex boyfriend's suicide. She begins to rebuild her life for the better. However, her sense of reality is put into question when she begins to suspect her deceased lover is not actually dead! Stay tuned for more news on the project from the franchise which includes Luke Evans' Dracula Untold and Tom Cruise's The Mummy.

  1. Your question seems to be the right time for me to say this:
I find it rather annoying when bloggers hide behind critters or some smarty, avoiding to publish their photo profile. As a reader and commenter I don't seek "to feast" on anybody's face, just to have an idea, even a slight one, about the person who's blog I'm following.

As for the 'Invisible Man' - it's a classic. Invisibility has always been the wet dream of scientists, detectives, murderers, revengers - you name it.

    1. I have a number of longtime internet friends who've been with me daily for a decade or more and I've never seen their faces, for some of them you don't even know their real names. I'm guessing anonymity is alluring to many internet users.

  2. I'm sure we'll still see him in Invisible Man, but they'll play it off some way where he's invisible to the other characters. This is one superhero flick I may have to catch.

    1. I wonder if it will be contemporary or period set.
