EXODUS GODS & KINGS
CHRISTIAN BALE AND JOEL EDGERTON IN NEW IMAGES
While NOAH is fighting floods currently in cinemas you can check out new
images from another epic of Biblical proportions - EXODUS GODS AND
KINGS depicting Christian Bale in his war gear as Moses and Joel
Edgerton under make up as Pharaoh Rhamses! Directed by Ridley Scott and
arriving to theatres this December, the movie also stars Aaron Paul as
Joshua, Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro as Seti and Tuya, Egyptian
rulers, and Ben Kingsley! The movie is an interpretation of the exodus of
the Israelites from Egypt as led by Moses and related in the Bible book
of Exodus.
interesting... very interesting, great cast of characters.
ReplyDeletetwas a historical day at the spy's bay today!
Delete"Exodus" has some promise but we'll wait and see.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be epic, although I'm not overly crazy about the cast....
DeleteExodus, waiting for Exodus...
ReplyDeletehope it is a successful one :)
DeleteI do like that word skulduggery. :) Fingers crossed, Marco Polo has some potential. Such an interesting story.
ReplyDeleteI expect it to be very exotic and they want to make it really luxurious and expensive which is why Starz gave up on it since they already have expensive DA VINCI'S DEMONS
DeleteWhen did Bruce Wayne go to ancient Egypt?....Moses WAS BATMAN! ;-)
ReplyDeleteand Alien was queen of Egypt :)
DeleteGot some heavy hitters in Moses.
ReplyDeleteHieroglyph sounds good
and Lorenzo is the perfect Marco Polo. Didn't Tony Curtis play Marco Polo YEARS ago?
I can't wait for MARCO POLO and HIEROGLYPH, those are my most anticipated future shows
DeleteChristian Bale as Moses? I just don't find that very believable!
ReplyDeleteyep, he isn't really a Biblical type :) He was supposed to be Noah before Russell took over the role, so he became Moses instead
DeleteI guess it's good on the career if you can be flexible like that, but he wouldn't have passes as Noah for me either lol.
Deletehe is certainly more fitted for Moses than Turturro is for a pharaoh LOL Can't wait to see Aaron Paul in loin cloth though :)
DeleteNoah, God is Not Dead, Son of God, and now Exodus. Is 2014 the year Hollywood went religious?
ReplyDeleteboth Hollywood and TV... sadly
DeleteSince Marco Polo is being done by Netflix, this will be one I get to see!!
ReplyDeleteyes, dear, and it will be released with eight episodes at the same time all at once :)
DeleteGotta love the Egyptian theme
ReplyDeletewe do adore it
DeleteI have to say, Netflix is just rocking and rolling with their series.
ReplyDeletethey're shooting their own now too
DeleteQuite a group of movies. It'll be interesting to see Christian Bale as Moses. With Ridley Scott as director it should be good.
ReplyDeletehope they do it really epic, and hope we get a trailer soon!
DeleteExodus very interesting movie , an Ridley Scott made good movies .
ReplyDeleteCheers .
hope this one will be epic too, Vincent
DeleteToo bad Noah is banned in the Middle East. It might be the same for Exodus. :(
ReplyDeleteI do have an understanding for the ban of certain films in the Middle East, tones of them are deeply disrespectful and like to bend facts and history. I'm for example always deeply disgusted when a US movie has a Russian or a Muslim for a villain
DeleteI agree. There are quite a lot of US films that deeply disrespect other cultures. It shows a decided lack of sensitivity and understanding.
Deletetwo things that will be the end of us
DeleteHieroglyph sounds amazing and I cannot wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteAnd Lorenzo is tasty...Wow, it took me awhile to get past his amazing eyes.
those two shows are my most anticipated ones!
