Apple TV Plus has finished production on a ten episode sf series last year out of Martha Wells' award winning MURDERBOT book series with Alexander Skarsgard as the lead and are ready to start streaming it from May 16th and today you can see the first trailer! I have to admit I did not expect it will look so bad and parodic, definitely giving it a big skip. He will play a self-hacking security android who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable “clients.” Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.
