Netflix has released a brand new quite glitzy and colourful teaser for their new TV series adaptation of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE which arrives July 9th! Alice Halsey stars as Laura Ingalls, the bright, honest young heroine of our story. A transformed adaptation of Wilder’s semi-autobiographical books, the new Little House on the Prairie is part family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West. The eight episode series will offer a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier. Luke Bracey plays her father. Crosby Fitzgerald, Skywalker Hughes, Warren Christie, Jocko Sims, Meegwun Fairbrother, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, and Wren Zahewenim Gotts also star.

It was a successful series when it was launched at Hulu as their new Australian original about a year ago and now next week is bringing us the second season of period set series THE ARTFUL DODGER which is scheduled to arrive with new episodes this Tuesday February 10th and will again stream also on Disney Plus. As you know the series reimagines popular characters from Charles Dickens' classic "Oliver Twist" by moving them over to the penal colony of Port Victory, Australia. With Luke Bracey joining the cast as inspector Henry Boxer, Thomas Brodie-Sangster is back as Dr Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger, David Thewlis as Norbert Fagin and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox. Joining the cast are also Jeremy Sims as Uncle Dickie and Zac Burgess as Phineas Golden.

 WHAT IS THE STORY OF THE SECOND SEASON?

Jack’s back! The Artful Dodger returns, and he’s in deep trouble. He’s got an appointment with the noose, he’s being hunted by Inspector Boxer, Port Victory’s new lawman, and if he sees the woman he loves, Lady Belle, he’ll be hanged.  Meanwhile, Lady Belle is determined to forge her future in medicine, defying expectation and stepping into danger, driven by ambition and a love already hanging in the balance. With Boxer competing with Jack for Belle’s affection, the crafty Fagin drags Dodger into their most dangerous heist yet, and a killer is on the loose. Get ready for an explosive season of new characters and locations with more thrills, humour, heart, invention and deception than ever.
