Ben Reeves' book will become a movie

A bunch of new book adaptations today for you, starting with Marc Turletaub who will helm movie adaptation of Ben Reeves novel EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HURT which tells the story of Travis, who lives with his cat in a small, gray town. His job is to offer people comfort in their final hours of life, which he does without complaint or judgment. But when Travis meets Dalia, a midwife, and her boisterous eight-year-old daughter Layla, who live across the hall, he begins to understand what it means to be truly alive and what might be irrevocably lost in death. No news on the possible stars yet, but stay tuned, we will continue following the project.

 

THE BODYGUARD OR GUARDING STARS

 Netflix is already making a festive feature film based on Katherine Center's THE BODYGUARD. Titled GUARDING STARS it will see Leighton Meester play executive

The Bodyguard will become Guarding Stars film

 protection agent Hannah Brooks whose security firm assigns her to guard Hollywood’s most famous heartthrob, Jack Stapleton (Jared Padalecki). Once the world’s favorite action star, Jack has retreated to his family’s Montana ranch after a scandal and a tragedy left him wary of the public eye. He doesn’t want his ailing mother (Andie MacDowell) to know about a stalker threatening him, so he insists Hannah pose as his girlfriend rather than his bodyguard. Thrust into close quarters, Hannah must juggle her professional instincts with the warmth of Jack’s family and the disarming kindness of the man she’s meant to protect. As the danger escalates and secrets surface, Hannah must decide whether to keep her heart locked down or risk it all for a man who might be far more than a client.

Peter Hutchings is set to direct Nina Dobrev, Tyler Hoechlin and Virginia Gardner in  the big screen adaptation of IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER major bestseller from Tessa Bailey. Dobrev plays Piper Bellinger a glamorous LA It Girl whose glittering world comes crashing down after a viral mishap gets her cancelled overnight. Netflix is already preparing their festive romcoms for next year's holiday season and they have cast Jared Padalecki and Leighton Meester as leads in the new adaptation of THE BODYGUARD by Katherine Center. He will play a famous actor who hires a bodyguard to protect him from a stalker, but to keep his family from worrying, he has the bodyguard pretend to be his girlfriend. As the situation escalates, the facade wanes and the feelings between the two characters become increasingly real. Andie MacDowell, Walker Hayes, Noah LaLonde and Toby Sandeman also star.

'MUTE' WITH ALEXANDER SKARSGARD AND PAUL RUDD

We're talking all Netflix today, starting with the news coming from 'Variety' that Justin Theroux has joined Paul Rudd and Alexander Skarsgard in their sf movie MUTE! To be directed by Warcraft helmer Duncan Jones the movie will see Skarsgard portraying a mute bartender in Berlin, 40 years in the future in what has become a roiling city of immigrants, where East crashes against West. His character will be looking for a woman who has disappeared — and when his search takes him deep into the city’s underbelly, an odd pair of American surgeons seem to be the only recurring clue.

'GILMORE GIRLS' FINAL SEASON

 SEASONAL POSTERS ARE HERE!

A treat for the ladies, today! Netflix has released the first four posters for their farewell four episodes for legendary GILMORE GIRLS series which will start airing all of its four new and last ever episodes from November 25th with each episode done in a form of a hour and a half long television episode set in four different seasons, so you will follow the important moments in Lorelai's (Lauren Graham) and Rory's (Alexis Bledel) lives in a spring, summer, autumn and winter setting (hence the title A YEAR IN LIFE), nine years after we last saw the events in Stars Hollow. As you know Lorelai is probably getting back together with Luke, Rory is pursuing her career in politics, and rumour has it one of them might be expecting a baby, but it might just be a rumour!

OLD CAST IS BACK
It is interesting that all of the original cast members are returning for the finale from Lorelai's best friend and business partner Sookie played by Melissa McCarthy to her love played by Scott Patterson, her mother played by Kelly Bishop, Rory's friends played by Keiko Agena and Lisa Weil and the trio of her old boyfriends played by Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry and Jared Padalecki! Yanic Truesdale returns as Lorelai's concierge.
