JULIAN MORRIS IN AMERICAN FEVER DREAM

Some casting news for you today, starting with our dearest Julian Morris who will lead AMERICAN FEVER DREAM movie drama with Alexandra Daddario, Christopher Convery and Spenser Granese. It spans nearly two decades and follows a hopeful middle-class family as they slowly descend into poverty, revealing the devastating collapse of the American Dream. Morris stars as Bo and Daddario as his wife Carrie, who are struggling to hold their family together as their circumstances steadily deteriorate. Convery plays their son James.

 

 LIMBO USA CASTS SERCAN BADUR

Turkish star Sercan Badur and David Beck will lead gay romantic movie LIMBO USA. It follows a celebrated Turkish television star who immigrates to New York, where he falls in love with a male kindergarten teacher, forcing him to choose between the family and career he thought he left behind and the future he’s finally brave enough to pursue. Reed Birney also stars as John Russell, the father of Adam (Beck), whose quiet compassion and hard-earned wisdom become an unexpected source of hope for Mehmet (Badur) as he struggles to reconcile love, family, faith, and identity. 

 

 

SEAN O'PRY TO LEAD ROSE HILL SERIES

Prime Video has set cast for their new series based on Elsie Silver's ROSE HILL novels. It follows best friends and neighbors West Belmont (Jake Weary), a rancher with commitment issues, and brooding record label owner Ford Grant (Sean O’Pry), aka Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire,” who’s long carried a torch for West’s sister, Rosie (Hannah Galway). And when country-pop star Skylar Stone (Sadie Dickerson) breezes into their rugged mountain town, the heat gets turned way up in this romantic family drama.

After Ransom Canyon which hits Netflix last month rather successfully, the streamer has set another family saga with THE WATERFRONT scheduled

The series starts June 19th on Netflix

for June 19th release and we have today the first trailer and poster for the eight episode family drama. Inspired by true events, it is as much about family dynamics as it is about the lengths people will go to when their legacy is on the line.

For decades, the Buckley family has ruled Havenport, North Carolina, dominating everything from the local fishing industry to the town’s restaurant scene. But their fishing empire has started to crumble as patriarch Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) recovers from two heart attacks, and his wife Belle (Maria Bello) and son Cane (Jake Weary) venture into the deep end to keep the family businesses afloat. As their attempts spiral out of control and into treacherous waters, Harlan steps back in to take command. Facing her own demons, Buckley daughter Bree (Melissa Benoist), an addict in recovery who’s lost custody of her son, finds herself entangled in a complicated relationship that could threaten the family’s future forever.
