STORY STARTS IN YEAR 1977 

when Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Fronted by two charismatic lead singers — Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin) — the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field, they called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers.

Beside Riley Keough as Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin as Billy Dunne, Camila Morrone stars as Camila Dunne, Will Harrison as Graham Dunne, Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko, and Josh Whitehouse as Eddie Roundtree. Also starring are Sebastian Chacon as Warren Rhodes, Nabiyah Be as Simone Jackson, and Tom Wright as Teddy Price, with a special guest appearance by Timothy Olyphant as Rod Reyes. Twenty-four original songs were written exclusively for the series and recorded by the cast. The original music will be released by Atlantic Records during the rollout of the series! Eleven songs will appear on a special movie album titled Aurora! Beside the soundtrack, an exclusive fashion line was created with the brand "Free People" to bring fans of the series "The Daisy Jones & The Six Time Capsule Collection". The limited edition line will be available for purchase starting March 13, 2023. Instead of Kevin Spacey who was originally meant to lead the film, Hungarian, British and Mongolian historical epic 1242: GATEWAY TO THE WEST will now have Ray Stevenson who is already shooting in Budapest. Eric Roberts, Michael Ironside, Neil Stuke, David Schofield, Jeremy Neumark-Jones, and Genevieve Florence also star. The movie follows a profoundly spiritual man (Neumark-Jones) of Hungarian Castle Esztergom who must confront and halt the Great Mongolian Army led by Batu Khan, grandson of Ghengis Khan (Mongolian actor Bold Choimbol) from invading Europe in 1242. He is back on the small screens, people, rejoice! As Deadline reports, American streamer Netflix has cast our dear Taylor Kitsch as the lead star of their brand new historical mini TV series AMERICAN PRIMEVAL which will be an exploration of the birth of the American West. The story of the new series will follow the “violent” collisions of cultures, religions and communities as men and women fight and die for control of this new world – for a land they truly believe is their destiny. In the six episode limited series, Taylor Kitsch will portray the character of Isaac, a traumatized man struggling to overcome his demons and find a reason to live in this brutal and punishing world. His fellow actor Peter Berg, who is also an executive producer of the new series, will also act as the director of all six episodes over at Netflix.
