THE BREAK IN MYSTERY NOVEL BY KATHERINE FAULKNER TO BE ADAPTED INTO SERIES BY THE CREATORS OF ALL HER FAULT

   THE BREAK-IN BOOK
TO BE ADAPTED INTO MINI TV SERIES
The book will be turned into a mini series
After a huge success of All Her Fault series at Peacock, the same team that created that one will turn another book into a mini TV series for the streamer and also a mystery one. THE BREAK-IN written by Katherine Faulkner is a domestic mystery: In the aftermath of a devastating home invasion, Alice Rathbone refuses to accept that the tragic event was simply random. Desperate for answers, Alice starts pulling at threads and soon finds a trail of dark secrets that spiral closer to home than she could ever have imagined. Megan Gallagher will be the executive producer of this brand new television series over at the well known production house Carnival Films.

  2. Every time they announce an adaptation, I tell myself I'm going to read the book first. Then the series arrives before my good intentions do. Have a wonderful weekend, and I'm sending you my daily hug.

    1. That happened to me and LOTR, I promised myself I must read the book and I bought them, but then the movies arrived and I never returned to reading the books, sadly.
      Returning the hug.

  3. This actually feels like a strong pick for a mini series. The home invasion angle mixed with personal secrets always pulls you in quickly, especially when it turns from “random tragedy” into something more connected. If they handle the tension well, this could land in that slow-burn mystery space that keeps people guessing without overdoing it.
