LEGACY OF SPIES
BBC TV SERIES UNVEILS FULL CAST
After casting Matthew MacFadyen as the lead, BBC keeps adding names to their LEGACY OF SPIES TV series adaptation of John Le Carre's The Spy Who Came In From the Cold book. MacFadyen stars as the iconic George Smiley, alongside Charlie Hunnam as Alec Leamas, the
maverick field operative, Daniel Brühl as Josef Fiedler, a methodical Stasi intelligence strategist, and Devrim Lingnau as Doris Quinz, a young and dynamic East German woman who delivers vital intelligence from the heart of the East German operation. Dan Stevens joins them as Bill Haydon, a brilliant and enigmatic Circus insider in the eight part espionage thriller.

Un’eredità di ombre e colpe che torna a chiedere il suo prezzo, lenta come una verità che non smette di bruciare.

Buona giornata, Silvia
DeleteI am not exactly a fan of Matthew MacFadyen...but I quite enjoy spy series. Since you mentioned stasi and East German, I reckon this happened in ww2 era?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what is the timeline in the novel, I thought it was after the war.
DeleteI meant after ww2..
ReplyDeleteMost probably. I did actually translate one of Le Carres books for the readers in my country, but not this one.
DeleteLooking forward to this one
ReplyDeleteI imagined that you would. I tried A Spy Among Friends and gave up after the secunda temporada, what a garbage of a borefest that shit was.
