Since it is now shooting, Channel 4 has released first images of Keeley Hawes and Paapa Essiedu from their new six part series FALLING. She plays Anna, a devoted nun, and Essiedu is David, a Catholic priest. Both are 
deeply committed to their work in the church and in their community.
Neither are expected to fall in love. But when they do, both are forced to wrestle with what it means for them, their vows, and their relationship with God. This witty
and moving love drama will also see Rakie Ayola, Jason Watkins, Niamh Cusack, Adrian Scarborough, David Dawson, Susan Brown and Sandra Voe starring in the cast.

My late father-in-law was an evangelical pastor, so I know they are generally married. But Catholic priests are literally married to God. This could be interesting to watch.

DeleteI don't understand this aspect of religion. I mean, go forth and multiply, right? But a nun and priest fall in love and it's taboo to be together. So stupid.
