FOX TV SERIES ADAPTATION
BEFORE THE COFFEE GETS COLD
Another book to be adapted into a TV series over at Fox is Toshikazu Kawaguchi's time travelling novel BEFORE THE COFFEE GETS COLD with
Gideon Raff as showrunner. In the heart of Japantown, San Francisco, a family owned café offers more than just coffee, it serves as a bridge between past and present. Visitors line up, drawn by the chance to relive a moment that changed their lives, knowing they must return before their coffee grows cold. Though the past cannot be rewritten, the act of letting go in the present can open the door to a future filled with hope. But this barista family, whose selfless gift has brought solace to so many, must now confront the shadows of their own mysterious past, one that may cost them everything.

There are so many moments that have shaped the course of my life. I'd love to revisit any one of them and make some serious changes.
ReplyDeleteAnd use some of the opportunities that we've missed.
DeleteIndeed. You ever just want to kick yourself for not recognizing a great opportunity until it's long gone?
DeleteTrue, fear is our greatest enemy.
DeleteThis sounds like an interesting premise, and the fact that is neither Netflix, HBO or Prime Video behind it....
ReplyDeleteYes, but Fox usually does very generic stuff, sadly.
