After the first teaser that we got back in April, Netflix has sent us the first trailer for TV series adaptation of Gabriel Garcia Marquez' ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE which will arrive December 11th with the first eight of sixteen episodes following the Buendía family and the founding of the mythical town of Macondo. First part will have eight episodes

 MARRIED AGAINST THEIR PARENTS'
wishes, cousins José Arcadio Buendía (Marco Gonzalez) and Úrsula Iguarán (Susana Morales) leave their village behind and embark on a long journey in search of a new home. Accompanied by friends and adventurers, their journey culminates with the founding of a utopian town on the banks of a river of prehistoric stones that they baptize Macondo. Several generations of the Buendía lineage will mark the future of this mythical town, tormented by madness, impossible loves, a bloody and absurd war, and the fear of a terrible curse that condemns them, without hope, to one hundred years of solitude.

    1. I am not sure either, there is something off about it, do not know what exactly, possibly because I do not understand what is really going on in it, so I am not invested and it does not seem to have a visible lead cast which makes it look like it will be all over the place. Plus, Spanish lg series are usually godawful.

  2. Ok, good. I'm glad it's not just me that wasn't feeling this one. I'm not surprised thought since this is Netflix, but with this being a known story, you'd think it would have looked a lot better than that!
