Earlier this year, your trusted spy has informed you that Starz is preparing an eight episode historical series BECOMING ELIZABETH
following the early life of queen Elizabeth I of England, and now, as Deadline reports, they've found a head to put her crown on: Alicia Von Rittberg will play Elizabeth Tudor, an orphaned teenager who becomes embroiled in the political and sexual politics of the English court on her journey to secure the crown.
Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry VIII and his second wife Anne Boleyn, who was executed when Elizabeth was just two years old. Despite the marriage being annulled and Elizabeth declared illegitimate, after a long journey filled with scheming, betrayal and illicit relationships that threatened to bring forth her demise, Elizabeth ultimately ascended to the throne and ruled for 45 years. CASTS CELINE DION, SAM HEUGHAN & PRIYANKA CHOPRA
All three of them will star in the film directed and written by Jim Strouse based on a popular German romcom SMS Fur Dich which was a movie adaptation of a Sofie Cramer’s popular novel. Priyanka Chopra would play a woman who, to ease the pain after tragically losing her fiancé,
starts to send romantic texts to his old cell. It turns out, the phone number has been reassigned to a man (Sam Heughan) across town suffering from similar heartbreak. The two meet and feel an undeniable connection, but can’t seem to leave the past behind. The music and influence of Celine Dion gives them the courage to take a chance on love again.

Where do I know Sam Heughan from? Off to Google to find out. Priyanka Chopra was in Isn't it Romantic and I didn't really care for her acting. It felt like she was included because of her name and not her skills.
ReplyDeleteHe is from that horrible Outlander show. Priyanka is bad in acting, but I guess she knows how to use her nationality and her marriage to get into media.

DeleteIt is? I did not get the memo. The first season was all over the place, with no real plot, even ugly visually, no chemistry between the leads, not to mention how immoral is for her to shag a Scot while her husband is waiting for her in another century. I quite after that hideous episode when they rape Jamie for 45 minute and then the next one when the whole episode is dedicated to her shaving her pussy. If that is the best thing out there, you really should watch more shows, deary. It is base, primitive and superficial just like GOT was.
DeletePoor Sam seems to really have a receding hairline these past few years. The movie sounds cliche and not original, so I think I'll pass on it.

DeleteI have absolutely nothing against bald men, but it's the getting to completely bald that's not cute. I mean, Jason was in denial about his hair loss for years, but now he looks at his old photos and jokes that he looked like a terrorist with his half bald, half thinning hair on his head. Just shave that shit off already and accept your hair-free head in all of its glory!
ReplyDeleteI've always found receding hairline prettier than a full head of hair, there is just something very hot about it, always loved it. Of course, you have to keep it nicely trim not like Prince William.
