After her Oscar winning role in Reader, Kate Winslet is returning to the battle fields of World War II in THE LIVES OF LEE MILLER as a Vogue cover model turned war correspondent. Based on the book by Lee's son Anthony Penrose, the war movie will be directed by Ellen Kuras who was nominated for an Oscar for a documentary movie. As  Deadline reports, the production has been granted an unprecedented access to The Lee Miller Archives, which include all of her photos and diaries.

The Story Of The  Film follows Lee Miller as she travels to the frontlines of World War II as a photojournalist and embarks on a mission to expose the hidden truths of the Third Reich. But in the aftermath of betrayal, she comes to a reckoning about the truths of her own past.

ROBOTS SF UK COMEDY

In another movie offered to buyers over at Cannes Virtual Market, Jack Whitehall will team up with Emma Roberts against ROBOTS. The British sf comedy will  see them playing a womaniser and a gold digger who learn humanity when forced to team up and pursue robot doubles of themselves. To be directed by Anthony Hines, it will see Charles and Elaine, who trick people into relationships with illegal robot doubles of themselves, unwittingly use the scam on each other. Their robot doubles fall in love and elope, forcing Charles and Elaine to team up to hunt them down before the authorities discover their secret.
