The Thanksgiving weekend after that will probably help it break records in its second week in cinemas as well especially with the sequel having an Autumny feel rather than the wintery one of the first movie.

To be written by Sherlock and Dr Who scribe, it tells the story of a resistance force trying to bring down tyrannical rule and follow Hawkmoon, whose journey takes him from ghost-cities in the Syrian desert to pirate colonies in the American bayou; from caravans of mutant creatures in Carpathian mountains to the heart of the Dark Empire itself – the glittering city of Londra where the river runs blood red.

EMERALD CITY  
First of, check out brand new photos from out most anticipated new show next season, Tarsem directed visual extravaganza EMERALD CITY NBC's modernized take on the Wizard of Oz tale. Florence Kasumba is the Wicked Witch of the East, Adria Arjona is Dorothy Gale and Oliver Jackson-Cohen is Lucas, her love interest. Joely Richardson is Glinda and Vincent D’Onofrio the Wizard of Oz.  It is set in a mystical land of competing kingdoms, lethal warriors, dark magic and a bloody battle for supremacy, the fabled Land of Oz in a way you’ve never seen before, where wicked witches don’t stay dead for long and a young girl becomes a headstrong warrior who holds the fate of kingdoms in her hands.

'THE GOOD PLACE' SITCOM

NBC has also ordered a whole series of new singlecamera sitcom THE GOOD PLACE! When Eleanor (Kristen Bell) has a brush with the afterlife, she realizes she hasn’t been a very good person. So she works to fix that, aided by an “afterlife mentor” played by Ted Danson.

'TIMELESS' SF SERIES

Another series to lend a series order at NBC is TIMELESS starring Matt Lanter.  In the sf series a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America by changing the past. An unexpected team: a scientist, soldier and history professor must use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. SUDEIKIS IS 'SON OF ZORN'
Fox has ordered unusual half hour comedy series mixing live action with CGI characters SON OF ZORN with the voice of Jason Sudeikis. Upon arriving home on Earth for the first time in 10 years, Zorn, a fully animated, legendary warrior, finds that reconnecting with his live-action son and ex-wife while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria. TV news for you today, new stars are being added to the cast of ABC's fantasy series SPARK pilot! Lena Olin (Welcome To Sweden) and gorgeous Tom Brittney (The Syndicate) will play mother and son in this lavish drama series of passion, greed and hope in a Steampunk reality, circa 2016. Set in an alternate history where gas and coal fuel the world, the drama centres on the battle for power between two rival families and a rebellious young woman with a spark of invention that could level both their empires.

Olin will play Hazel Stockton who now controls the powerful Stockton Coal Company using her wealth more altruistically than her arch rivals at Lavelle Gas — but despite her philanthropic outreaches to the city’s poor, she still craves absolute power, and is not above using strong-arm tactics to achieve it. However, when deadly sabotage starts claiming innocent lives across the city, she denies any involvement to her son Aiden, Captain of the Investigative Division of the Watch, who is investigating the incidents. Tracy Ifeachor will play one of the forensic investigators.

'REAL GOOD PEOPLE' SITCOM

ROSS KIMBALL JOINS NICK ZANO

CBS is rounding up cast for their new multi camera sitcom REAL GOOD PEOPLE! Ross Kimball has joined the cast which already has Nick Zano and Lenora Crichlow! It centres on a conservative small-town family forced to reconcile their values when they discover their children’s lives are less than perfect. As 'Deadline' reports, Kimball will play Beau, the eldest son, a good ol’ boy who adores his momma and worships his father, but didn’t inherit their strong moral compass.

Manny Jacinto is the latest to join Ted Danson and Kristen Bell in the sitcom that centres on Eleanor (Bell), a woman from New Jersey who comes to realize that she hasn’t been a very good person. She decides to turn over a new leaf by learning what it actually means to be “good” or “bad,” and then trying to make up for her past behavior. Jacinto will play the sweet and good-natured Jason.
