You already know how much we adore German superstar Jannis Niewohner, and today we have first image from Netflix romcom OKTOBERFEST in which he stars with Jeanne Goursaud, our dearest Bart Edwards alongside Peter Gallagher, Santa Berger and Fisher Stevens. Goursaud is Miri, a quick-witted Oktoberfest waitress and single
mother whose life is complicated enough before she bumps into Niewöhner's Tom, a stressed-out businessman who has flown in from New York to Munich on a clear-cut assignment, only to find himself stranded at the festival with his plans in tatters. The two come from completely different worlds but find they have more in common than they’d like to admit as the chaos builds around them.

Hello there. Sounds like a lovely romantic comedy I love the Oktoberfest setting. Looking forward to seeing more about this movie.

DeleteWell, the first image looks promising. With only one photo it is hard to tell whether this will be fun or just another romantic comedy made from the usual recipe, but the Oktoberfest setting gives it something different. Let us wait for the trailer and see whether there is more to it than beer, pretzels and two beautiful actors. A big hug.

DeleteMight be good to see how a potential mate handles the stresses of a chaotic situation before getting involved. Especially if one had to move to a different country to keep the relationship going eventually.
