LAIRD CAST SET
FOR SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS SET DRAMA
Paramount + has rounded up lead cast for their Scottish highlands set series LAIRD which follows a proud Scot and Laird of Castle Drummoch (Kenneth Branagh) who defies a shadowy American billionaire (Peter Sarsgaard) hellbent on buying up the glens. Amidst family feuds,
buried secrets and star-crossed romances, he remains determined to protect his ancestral lands from oligarchical land grabbing. Jennifer Ehle, Peter Mullan, Phia Saban, Ruaridh Mollica, Holliday Grainger, Douglas Hodge and Corey Mylchreest have joined the cast.

This one has caught my attention. Kenneth Branagh facing Peter Sarsgaard over a Scottish estate is already a very good start, and family quarrels, secrets and a castle only make it more tempting. I hope that billionaire packs a thick coat, because Branagh does not look ready to give him even one Scottish sheep.
ReplyDeleteA warm hug from this side of the glen.
I have always wanted to own a castle in Scotland with lots of stable boys... Returning the hug!
