NEW HIGH END PERIOD SET TV SERIES
Currently in production is a four part $25 million expensive mini TV series A LAND REMEMBERED based on a historical novel by Patrick D.
Smith and starring Philip Ettinger, Lily McInerny and William Catlett. As Deadline reports, it chronicles three generations of the MacIvey
family in frontier Florida from the mid-19th to the 20th century, as they turn swamp cows, citrus, and unwanted land into a multi-generational commercial
empire so successfully, it results in the eventual decline of the natural place they so loved. It will be offered to the buyers at the upcoming MipCom.

Expensive, but not for us.
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining on and off here..warm, but mostly clouded...need to wear a pulli later when we go out for a walk as it's just 13C..will warm up in the afternoon though. Hope you have a better and sunnier weather than we have.
Oh, I wish I had weather like you, it is 30C here today and we had a drought, but it should rain today, hopefully in my city as well.
DeleteWell, it seems to me that you always bring along discoveries that would probably pass completely unnoticed by me if it weren't for your blog. And the funny thing is that you almost always manage to spark my interest, even in stories or genres that I wouldn't normally go looking for myself.

It is because the images are pretty, seems the visuals will be majestic in this one, an interesting mix of cowboys and tropical surroundings, unusual to us.

Interesting. I can only imagine the HUGE gators they came up against! (Actually, I don't have to imagine it. I saw a stuffed 16 footer some locals had to take down in order to manage a citrus grove. Terrifying.)
ReplyDeleteWell, it was his citrus grove, he has the right to defend it, poor gator! We have a gator in our ZOO who is well over 120 years old as far as the count started, it is possible he is three times older LOL

DeleteUS, China, India.. all leading the pack to destroy the environment as quickly as possible. The freaking data centers are causing so many problems in my area right now. Amazon has several data centers here that are sucking the lands dry. Farms can't water their crops and houses near the centers now have dry wells. Families are now forced to sell their land or live without water. Our politicians are approving the builds without public opinion weighing in because they know we don't want them. I see Trump's family is now trying to screw up Albania's island with their luxury resort. When does the greed end? When we have no wildlife or natural resources left?
ReplyDeleteOh, Jared first tried here in Belgrade, he wanted to open a Trump hotel in the ruins of the Military headquarters building that NATO bombed in 1999, but we rioted and he decided in the end to leave our country and his plans here. That is like Nazis building a hotel in Auschwitz.
