JACK PATTEN TO LEAD
NEW ROBIN HOOD SERIES AT MGM+
Back in September I told you that MGM+ will start shooting their ten episodes new ROBIN HOOD series from John Glenn and director Jonathan English
this February in Serbia and now newcomer Jack Patten has been announced as the lead. It will bring a modern energy to the classic tale of the roguish outlaw
hero who stole from the rich and gave to the poor,
and the epic love
story between him and a courageous and daring Marian. Following the Norman
invasion of England, Rob – a Saxon forester’s son – and Marian, the
daughter of a Norman lord fall in love and work together to fight for
justice and freedom. As Rob rises as the leader of a band of rebel
outlaws, Marian infiltrates the power at court, and both work together
to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to the land. It is aimed to
air at the end of 2025.

Ok, so it's a touch Romeo and Juliet. Well, I never tire of the Merry Men
ReplyDeleteBet Mariane will be played by a black girl.
DeleteLMAO he looks like that 90's cartoon Butthead with his big forehead and huge curly hairdo.
ReplyDeleteHope he will look better in the costume, maybe with a goatee?
