UPCOMING TV SHOWS FIND NEW CAST MEMBERS
LEVI MEADEN IN SYFY'S 'OLYMPUS' MYTHOLOGICAL SERIES
In today's television news from the epic front two upcoming series have new cast members: young Levi Meaden (from THE 100, THE KILLING) is the first one to be cast in SyFy's mythological series OLYMPUS which will air in 13 episodes following a few brave men and women who banished the Gods to the realm of the unconscious – a place they called the Underworld or the Kingdom of Hades. The story centres on a fresh faced and raw young man who, through the dramatic experiences of betrayal, love, disappointment, empowerment and exile, transforms into a ruthless leader of men, and a match for the Gods themselves. Meaden will play Kimon, a young scribe who develops a relationship with the heir to the throne of Athens.
JOSEPH FIENNES' 'CLAVIUS' EPIC SHOW GETS LEONOR WATLING, CLIFF CURTIS
Another historical drama CLAVIUS, which will see Joseph Fiennes toplining the TV show, has added new cast members. Beside Tom Felton, who is already in the cast, Leonor Watling, Antonio Gil, Maria Botto and Cliff Curtis have all also joined the 1st century-set mystery thriller in which Fiennes plays an agnostic Roman Centurion tasked with investigating the rumoured resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth in order to stop an uprising in Jerusalem.

VIGGO MORTENSEN FINDS TURMOIL IN 1950'S ALGERIA
Today you can watch the first trailer for a film which will premiere next week at Venice Film Festival: it's a historical drama FAR FROM MEN directed by David Oelhoffen and starring Viggo Mortensen. The big screen adaptation of a short story by Albert Camus is set in 1954 Algeria, following two very different men who are thrown together by a world in turmoil and are forced to flee across the Atlas mountains. Mortensen plays a reclusive teacher who must escort Mohamed (Reda Kateb), a villager accused of murder, as they are pursued by vengeful settlers and horsemen seeking summary justice.The film opens up in France next January and will appear at Toronto Film Festival too!

Viggo has a number of movies coming up, but most of the foreign actors are of the radar when it comes to Hollywood, and so is he...
DeletePS did the third ep. of OUTLANDER find any momentum? I've watched the second one two days ago and it was as slow as the first one :) god forbid if their kilts should catch some wind.... :)
Haven't had a chance to see any of the other episodes yet, but I'll try to soon. I do hope it finds its pace and gallops away like the books. :)

DeleteI loved the first two seasons of The Killing. I couldn't believe how much I DIDN'T like the third season. I got all caught up in the story of the missing girl, I guess!
