Now, do I have a visual treat for you! Exquisitely interesting character posters have been released for all the major heroes from epic action PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES which puts a delightful spin on Jane Austen's story finally making it bearable to watch :) These new posters include a rather stellar cast of the movie among others Douglas Booth as Mr. Bingley, Sam Riley as Mr. Darcy, Suki Waterhouse as Kitty Bennet, Jack Huston as Mr. Wickham, Lena Headey as Lady Catherine De Bourgh, Matt Smith as Mr. Collins and Lily James in the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet. Charles Dance also appears in the movie!

Based on Seth Grahame Smith's novel, and ready to bring the 'sorry stricken' AKA Austenian zombies to the big screens February 5th, PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES  sees a mysterious plague fallen upon 19th century England, so the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry. Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.

Poster and a trailer have also been revealed for new animated adventure coming from Laika Studios KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS  about kindhearted Kubo (Art Parkinson) who tells stories to the people of his seaside town. But his quiet existence is shattered when he accidentally summons a spirit from his past which storms down from the heavens to enforce an age-old vendetta. Now on the run with Monkey (Charlize Theron) and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey), he sets out on a quest to save his family and solve the mystery of his fallen father, the greatest samurai warrior the world has ever known. With the help of his magical musical instrument Kubo must battle gods and monsters, including the vengeful Moon King (Ralph Fiennes) and the evil twin Sisters (Rooney Mara) to unlock the secret of his legacy, reunite his family and fulfil his heroic destiny.

'LOVE MAY FAIL' ADAPTATION

Today we're busy with the news on all the new gigs that await hot redhead Emma Stone! She will star in LOVE MAY FAIL, an adaptation of Matthew Quick's bestseller about a divorcee who returns to her home town and tries to clear the name of her favourite English teacher whose career ended forcibly after a classroom scandal.

AND 'BATTLE OF SEXES'  
She will also play tennis legend Billie Jean King in BATTLE OF THE SEXES which focuses on the 1973 tennis 5 set match between King and Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell). The competition took place in Texas and had a winning prize of $100,000. King ended up beating the former Wimbledon champion Riggs in a victory for female players! I've reported earlier that she will also join Rachel Weisz in royal drama THE FAVOURITE on Queen Anne of England.

'SAND CASTLE' REUNITES

Well, we can only hope that the movie won't be a shameless propaganda for US army and their aggressive invasions, but two of our most beloved movie stars, Luke Evans and Henry Cavill will star together in SAND CASTLE Iraq set movie alongside Nicholas Hoult! This will be their second time to star together after Tarsem Sing's magnificent epic adventure IMMORTALS in which Evans was the powerful supreme God Zeus while Cavill was the brave Greek hero Theseus! 

'SAND CASTLE' PLOT
The plot of SAND CASTLE centres on Matt Ocre (Nicholas Hoult), who is part of a mission to repair a broken water system in the dangerous and unstable Iraqi village of Baqubah. While the people of Baghdad welcome the Americans as saviours, the villagers resist their presence and Matt and his unit must try to convince the community that they are part of the solution, not the problem, in order to save the town and get out alive. Luke Evans will be playing the sergeant in charge of Ocre’s unit and Henry Cavill is the special forces captain running the operation in Baqubah.

Well, it starts delightfully and idyllically and then it just all goes straight into zombie hell: that is how you could describe the first trailer for PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES which brings horror fun to cinemas next February starring  Lily James as Elizabeth Bennett, Sam Riley as Mr. Darcy, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth as Mr Bingley, Jack Huston as Mr Whickam, Charles Dance, Lena Headey, and Matt Smith as Mr. Collins! The 19th century courting  between Elizabeth and Darcy is sadly interrupted by the ''sorry stricken'' (aka the Victorian zombies) who plague their shire so it is up to her, Mr Darcy and her sisters to stop the highly inappropriate gory madness! Based on Seth Grahame Smith's novel, the movie stays far away from being campy!

A bunch of photo updates for you today coming from 'Entertain- ment Weekly'. We first start with the first photos from the second season of Starz' epic drama series OUT- LANDER showing both Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in their new French costumes (the yellow gown was created by costume designer Terry Dresbach, the wife of  Ronald D. Moore, the show's creator)  since the second season, which arrives only next year, will see them in France where they fled and are now trying to stop the Jacobite rebellion from ravaging Scotland. As I reported before a number of stars has joined the new season with Stanley Weber playing Comte St Germain the main rival of Jamie's cousin who is the leading wine seller in France. VICIOUS star Frances de la Tour will play Mother Hildegarde, woman who comes from an aristocratic and well-connected family. When Claire begins volunteering at L'Hopital des Anges, she encounters and soon earns the respect of Mother Hildegarde. Andrew Gower will be Prince Charles Stuart who wants the throne, while Margaux Chatelier will play an old flame of Jamie's.

New pics have also been released for a classic drama with an unexpected twist - PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES which arrives into cinemas next Valentines turning Austen's dull love lemonade into something more apocalyptic. Lily James will portray Lizzy, who has become romantically entangled with Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley). Sadly, their love will be challenged by zombie virus in which the 'sorry stricken' (aka zombies) are rising from the grave to cause Victorian zombie mess. The victims of this mysterious plague have been roaming around for the past 70 years, and it's up to Lizzy, her sisters, and her lover to stop the madness! Douglas Booth, Matt Smith and Jack Huston also star.

And there's also a new photo from long delayed Victorian horror adventure VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN in which Daniel Radcliffe plays Igor and the film is told from his  perspective, showing the troubled young assistant's dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Viktor Von Frankenstein (James McAvoy), and him becoming eyewitness to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man - and the legend - we know today.
