FIRST IMAGES FROM COMEDY MOVIE SPOOF

Created by comedian Jimmy Carr who also stars in it, comedy movie FACKHAM HALL has Damian Lewis, Ben Radcliffe and Tom Felton in the cast that also includes Thomasin McKenzie, Katherine Waterston and Emma Laird, and we have the first photos today to prove it. The movie should be out in cinemas December 5th. The spoof comedy follows loveable pick-pocket Eric Noone (Radcliffe) as he lands a job at English manor house Fackham Hall. He quickly rises through the ranks and a forbidden romance with lady-of-the-house Rose Davenport (McKenzie) blossoms. But when an unexpected murder occurs, Eric gets framed  leaving Rose and her family’s future perilously uncertain. Lewis will play master-of-the-house Lord Davenport while Felton is Archibald, Eric’s main rival for Rose’s hand. You can also check out the first trailer which I posted below:

TV SERIES REVEALS CAST AT NETFLIX

Back in April I told you that Netflix is preparing a new TV series adaptation of AGE OF INNOCENCE and today the streamer has announced the lead cast. Camila Morrone as Ellen Olenska, Kristine Froseth as May Welland, Ben Radcliffe as Newland Archer and Margo Martindale as Mrs. Manson-Mingott will topline the series of forbidden love in 19th century New York,  a passionate and heart-rending love triangle exploring themes of freedom, duty, identity and love in all its forms. This fresh take is true to Wharton’s novel but will speak to a new generation as we traverse the ballrooms and bedrooms of these young people, asking the question what is love — and what is lust? And should we ultimately be driven by our heads or by our hearts?

We have been waiting for this one for years now, but now Apple TV Plus has finally decided to bring us their high end World War II series MASTERS OF THE AIR which is a continuation of the legendary award winning Band of Brothers saga. This time it will be the story of the pilots who had to become masters of the air in order to defeat the enemy planes. Produced again by Steven Spielberg the series will launch January 26th opening the TV season of the new 2024 with two episodes with the rest  of the nine part season streaming weekly till mid March! THE STORY OF THE MASTERS OF THE AIR SERIES FOLLOWS

  the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen, and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air. Portraying the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich, is at the heart of Masters of the Air. Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was exacted on them all.
