CASTS TOM MISON AS ROB'S FATHER
Shooting currently in Serbia, MGM+ new epic TV series ROBIN HOOD has added new names to the cast with Tom Mison set as Rob's father, a proud Saxon called Hugh, Graeme Thomas King as Prince John, younger brother to Richard, son of King Henry, and a dangerous pretender to the throne, and Jelena Gavrilovic cast as Godda, a mythological Saxon
goddess. Following the Norman invasion of England, Rob (Jack Patten), a Saxon forester’s son, and Marian (Lauren McQueen) the daughter of a Norman lord, fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. As Rob rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, Marian infiltrates the power at court, as both work together to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to the land. Sean Bean plays the Sheriff of Nottingham.

I've never liked Robinhood. I doubt this would be for me.

ReplyDeleteThere was a bad one almost two decades ago and a few films.
DeleteCould be good. Depends on if it is different enough to be interesting but doesn't alienate fans of the original story.
ReplyDeleteGiven that it is MGM Plus it will probably be cheapass like their Winter King which was unwatchable, but I will give it a go since it is shooting here in my neck of the woods.
