JOINS GILDED AGE SERIES SEASON THREE
Julian Fellowes is adding new names to the cast of the third season of his period set series GILDED AGE which takes place in 1880s New York City and follows the lives of both old and new money
members of high society (and their servants) as they navigate the economic and social changes of their time. Paul Alexander Nolan has joined as Alfred Merrick, a dashing, wealthy New York businessman, who has all the hallmarks of the old money set – elegance, refinement and sophistication. The Russells invite him to dine at their home in the hopes of charming him into a business deal. Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Harry Richardson, and Blake Ritson will also be joined by Bill Camp, Merritt Wever, Leslie Uggams, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Hattie Morahan, Andrea Martin and Jessica Frances Dukes in the new season which arrives next year.
Paul Alexander Nolan will be a dashing new gent |
There's been talk about a prequel to Downton that would be set in the same timeframe. Maybe they could overlap plots
ReplyDeleteHopefully not, cannot stand Downton Dully.
DeleteI haven’t watched this one yet, but it does seem like one that I would enjoy
ReplyDeleteIt has been a nice series, very pretty visually and some nice characters.
DeleteDon't know about this series. Some men look really handsome with a beard...Paul Alexander Nolan is one of them.
ReplyDeleteYou have heard about it millions of times because I have been covering that series for years now LOL It is quite good if you can tolerate some of the irritating characters.
