BRANDON SANDERSON'S POPULAR SF SAGA SKYWARD TO BE TURNED INTO A TV SERIES

  BRANDON SANDERSON'S
SKYWARD TO BE TURNED INTO TV SERIES
Sanderson will pen the scripts himself
One of the most popular writers among the fantasy fans Brandon Sanders will have his SKYWARD book turned into a TV series by Tomorrow Studios with him penning the scripts together with Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen! In the book humanity is trapped on a harsh planet and constantly under attack by mysterious alien forces. The story follows Spensa Nightshade, a determined pilot who dreams of joining the fighter corps to defend humanity and redeem her disgraced father’s legacy. Blending high-stakes aerial combat, advanced technology, and themes of courage, identity, and discovery, the series explores both the secrets of the galaxy and Spensa’s growth from an outsider into a key figure in humanity’s fight for survival.

  1. Not for me, but my husband might like it.

  2. Sembra un mondo di carta che prende fuoco di meraviglia: epico, lieve, inevitabile.

  3. When I was younger, science fiction fascinated me. I still remember queuing for almost an entire day to see the very first Star Wars premiere. I’m not really sure what changed afterwards, but for many years now the genre just hasn’t grabbed me in the same way.
That said, not long ago I went with my son to see Project Hail Mary and I came out of the cinema genuinely delighted. So maybe there’s still a little of that old spark left, and perhaps your recommendation will help bring it back again. A big hug.

    1. Sf is still very popular, now even among women who eat up dystopia and romantasy like crazy. Sadly, epic fantasy and pure sf have become a bit stale, but like everything else that might change again. New season of Star Trek Strange New Worlds is returning this summer.

  4. Never heard of this before, but I don't really pay too much attention to SF, so that's not surprising. If there's a huge fandom of his work, I'm sure it will be a hit.

    1. He is huge around the world, his fans here constantly beg me to translate this or that of his novels. We have a fantasycon soon down in the southern capital of Nish and some of them big sf writers will be present.

  5. I am not a fan of science fiction. I did like the original Star Trek TV show with William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, though.
