HITTING ACORN TV AS SOON AS TOMORROW
First new TV series to open the scorching new August week tomorrow is IRISH BLOOD, a six part original crime series from Acorn TV which launches August 11th with Alicia Silverstone in the lead role. Acorn's Art Detectives with
Stephen Moyer has earlier this year become their best viewed new series in many years. Their upcoming new series include Murder Before Evensong with Matthew Lewis and Allie & Andi with Brooke Shields.

THIS MURDER MYSTERY
focuses
on Fiona (Silverstone), whose path in life is earmarked by her father,
Declan (Jason O'Mara), who seemingly abandoned her and her mother on her
tenth birthday. After years of channeling anger toward him, to the
benefit of her litigious clients, a message from her father sends her to
Ireland. There she
learns key truths about her father as well as a
family that doesn't know she exists, and, moreover, that the story of
abandonment that has shaped her 
entire life - was a lie. A lie intended
to protect her and her mother from her father's shady business dealings.
Fiona resolves to uncover the full truth about her father and reconnect
with the parent she only thought she knew.

Beautiful landscape and it reminds me of the British series Vera..hope it's a good one.

DeleteOoh, I’m torn. My love for Ireland might be overshadowed by my annoyance for Silverstone. Her voice, mouth and mannerisms irk the hell out of me!
