  1. I would watch this if I had a peacock prime simply because of Anthony Hopkins. Trailer is pretty awesome! Couldn't recognize Rupert Penry Jones in the trailer though.

    1. It is on Amazons Prime Video in Europe, you need to get it, as it has a bigger offer than Netflix. Penry has sexy scenes in the trailer :)

  2. Damn, I thought is was going to be on our Prime. I'll have to resub to Peacock for this. We were waffling between this and I think HBO when we swap streamers this fall (Allison's request) so she may end up losing that battle.

    1. The producers opted to split broadcasters around the world so that more people can see it, so Europe is covered by Prime Video and some national broadcasters, North America by Peacock, and not sure about Australia, probably Prime as well or SBB. I generally cannot stand HBO, but they do have Gilded Age, but they are now moving a lot of their shows over to HBO instead of their streamer Max, and I imagine you have regular HBO on your cable.

    2. HBO has always been an added package on top of the cable prices, so in order to see anything on there, I'll need to pay for their streaming package. Honestly, there isn't anything on there that captures my attention, so I think it's going to be Peacock this fall. Maybe AppleTV also. If those fall short next spring, I'll cancel one or both and let her get her HBO for a few months.

    3. It is the same here, if you want HBO you have to pay a special cable package, you don't get it with the regular monthly one. My mother just changed her cable operator, but I don't know which one she took, they also changed our landline phone number with it LOL Now I don't know our home number, not that I ever use it...

    4. Oh, you'll have to update me on your new phone number this holiday then before I ship out your package. She must have gotten a bundle deal with the cable and phone swap. That's why we're swapping too. We get deep discounts on some streamers with our new phone plan. Thankfully we got to keep our old phone numbers so I didn't have to relearn mine.

    5. No, deary, no need, you have my mobile number, I am speaking of our landline here LOL I haven't changed my mobile number in like twenty years.

    6. I'm surprised you all still have a landline. I don't think I've seen anyone here with one for many years. Even payphones are a novelty. There's one at the flea market just for show, doesn't work, that people like to take pictures with like it's some kind of prehistoric artifact.

    7. Every house has a landline here, we get it from the post office which covers phones and cable TV here as a state firm. I think a lot of people here have cancelled it as you pay a rather expensive monthly fee for it, but many have it because it goes with your cable package. My mother does not use a mobile phone, and most older people don't, so she has her wireless landline phone which she uses to chat with the relatives and neighbours. We also pay the fee for the national broadcaster through phone accounts, methinks. You don't have it, but just like Brits who pay for BBC, every house here with electricity has to pay broadcaster fee too. A bunch of shitty fees which amount to a rather big monthly sum and legally you cannot get rid of it or avoid it.

    8. That's government for you. Always looking for a way to bilk every coin from you. We have mandatory recycling fee every month, so I make sure that bin is packed. If I have to pay, you're taking it all.

    9. Oh, garbage is the worst of all, we pay quite an extreme fee for taking out our garbage every month due to the size of our house, even though we produce a very small amount every week, sometimes just half a bin, while our neighbours have two or three bins and pay twice less.
