Peacock has released a teaser for their new limited series APPLES NEVER FALL which launches March 14th on the streamer with Sam Neill and Annette Bening in the lead roles. The seven episode series, based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel, centers on the seemingly picture-perfect Delaney family. Former tennis coaches Stan and Joy have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives. While they look forward to spending time with their four adult children (Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Essie Randles), everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on Joy and Stan’s door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing.
But when Joy suddenly disappears, her children are forced to reexamine their parents’ so-called perfect marriage as their family’s darkest secrets begin to surface.
There's no such thing as a perfect family or marriage. I'm sure there are skeletons in every closet. We only let people see what we want them to see. Makes you wonder how well you really know anyone. I've questioned a lot of friendships and motives this past year. People be shady AF!
I do think there are couples who have no problems ever, a match made in heaven, usually with people who are very similar, think the same, want the same etc, but such examples are probably very rare.
