NEW MOVIE PROJECTS FOR
RYAN REYNOLDS, CHRIS EVANS AND JOHN KRASINSKI
Three of our most favourite hunksters are getting new roles: Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski will star in Paramount's IF which Krasinski is also directing and writing: the story about a child’s journey to rediscover
their imagination will also star Steve Carrell. Chris Evans has, meanwhile, joined Dwayne Johnson in RED ONE holiday action flick, a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre. Jake Kasdan is directing.

NEW MOVIE ADAPTATION
ELEANOR OLYPHANT IS COMPLETELY FINE FILM
As 'Deadline' reports, Harry Bradbeer is to direct the movie adaptation of Gail Honeyman's ELEANOR OLYPHANT IS COMPLETELY FINE book, sold in over two million copies around the world. Eleanor Oliphant struggles with appropriate social skills and tends to say exactly what she’s
thinking. Nothing is missing in her carefully timetabled life of avoiding unnecessary human contact, where weekends are punctuated by frozen pizza, vodka, and phone chats with Mummy.
But everything changes when Eleanor meets Raymond, the bumbling and deeply unhygienic IT guy from her office. When she and Raymond together save Sammy, an elderly gentleman who has fallen, the three rescue one another from the lives of isolation that they had been living. Ultimately, it is Raymond’s big heart that will help Eleanor find the way to repair her own profoundly damaged one. If she does, she'll learn that she, too, is capable of finding friendship—and even love—after all.
Smart, warm, uplifting, this is the story of an out-of-the-ordinary heroine whose deadpan weirdness and unconscious wit make for an irresistible journey as she realizes the only way to survive is to open your heart.

Who would have thought John Krasinski would grow up to be so hunky after seeing his nerdy young self in The Office? We do ever so love him!
ReplyDeleteThe book sounds fun. I'm weird, but I like socially awkward people. Especially the ones who say exactly what they are thinking. They certainly make life more interesting!
I've always found Krasinski captivating and a catch. I first saw him in an ensemble movie about a family gathering for some wedding and although it had massive names in the cast, De Niro, Walken, Keaton and such, methninks, he stole every scene being utterly magnetic. Like a sun. He is still like that. I adore it when he and Emily guest star together at Graham Norton.
DeleteI think I'm interesting to people around Blogger exactly for saying what nobody else would LOL I'm sure some find it scandalous, but Europeans are more open like that.
It's probably why I like you best. You're not afraid to tell it like it is.
DeleteAlthough sometimes you do probably want to strangle me :)
DeleteNever! ♥

DeleteI was looking forward to your response on my comment, but it disappeared!! I was teasing you about how The Rock is the real hunk here. ;)
ReplyDeleteI find Rock quite off putting lately, mostly due to his political views and the way he behaved towards Vin Diesel recently was horrible too. Cannot stand the prick.
DeleteI don't know about any of that. I find it absurd that celebrities feel like they should be involved in politics. Most of the time it would be like me commenting on how a mechanic is fixing a car.
DeleteI'm off to look up his beef with Vin Diesel!
That was a recent thing between the two of them. He basically wanted to force him to do another Fast and Furious but playing it dirty.
