SAVING A LION CUB
Two family friendly movies for you today, first one coming from France. KING follows Ines, a little girl, who takes in an escaped lion cub, King. Accompanied by her brother, their grandfather, and with the unexpected help of Louise, her stepmother whose presence she has never accepted, Inès sets off
on a mad race to a port in the Mediterranean. Her goal: to bring King home to Africa. But that's without counting on the director of customs, determined to get his hands on the animal. The film, coming from Pathe and David Moreau, is out in France mid February and then in 15 other countries around Europe too.

THE KING'S DAUGHTER
FINALLY COMING TO CINEMAS
This one has, meanwhile, been in works since 2015 and is now finally coming out January 21st. THE KING'S DAUGHTER sees Pierce Brosnan portraying
the Sun King Louis XIV alongside Kaya Scodelario, William Hurt, Benjamin Walker, Ben Lloyd Hughes, Pablo Schreiber, Rachel Griffiths and Fan Bingbing with Julie Andrews as narrator! The film imagines a quest for immortality by the megalomaniacal king, whose reign
spanned the 17th and 18th centuries, as he captures and steals a mermaid’s life force.
Matters are further complicated when the king’s illegitimate daughter discovers the mythological creature. Scodelario and
Benjamin Walker met at the shooting of this movie and later on got
married. Chinese star Fan Bingbing plays the mermaid.
