As much as I don't love snow and cold, the story does sound really inspiring. I'll have to check out a copy from the library.
ReplyDeleteHer books always give inspiration and strength to kids to be able even when they are disabled.
DeleteI know my dog team will want to read this book!
ReplyDeleteDid not know you're a musher, Debs, how did HRH ever allowed that? :) Or was it for her own royal transport?
DeleteI think this is a story for when my baby girl is a little bit older. She's advanced for her reading level, but is working mastering a 3rd grade level. She's an animal lover which makes me think she'd like this one.
ReplyDeleteShe should start with the first one ICE DOGS and then move on to this one, kids love such stories and they've very educational. ICE DOGS is probably my fave of Terry's books as it was more wholesome and innocent than the newer books tend to be in today's publishing.
