FIRST TEASER RELEASED!
After a rather long wait Starz has released the first teaser for their THE WHITE PRINCESS epic series, a sequel to The White Queen that they did with BBC a few years ago. It doesn't reveal much, but it gives 
you a look on Jodie Comer in the lead role in the adaptation of Philippa Gregory's novel.

To air sometime this year, the eight episodes will be set in the 15th century England ostensibly united by the marriage of Elizabeth of York and King Henry VII (Jacob Collins Levy), but their personal and
political rift runs deep and the war that rages between them threatens

of power, family, love, betrayal and death, which charts one of 
the most
tumultuous times in British history uniquely from the point of view of

DeleteI do that with Catholic Christmas, decorate and stuff, the Orthodox one is too traditional, more conservative, more about peace, family and modesty than consumerism and fun :) so no fun for me in it :)

DeleteI haven't even watched The White Queen yet. Jason has next week off so we'll be able to catch up on some shows. I still need to do season 5 of Last Man Standing. I've got season 6 recording on tivo now, so I'll catch season 5 on Netflix hopefully next week!
ReplyDeleteseason 5 was the last good one, they've changed the 6th one a bit, Mike Baxter is no longer that harsh in his political criticism and they've put focus on the youngers ones, it has lost its magic, but it is still the best comedy on TV and the most watched one on ABC which still isn't making them give it some love, bastards, that sitcom has been so mistreated there for years and it is still kicking ass. If it was on CBS it would already have ten Emmy and Globe awards.
DeleteI was disappointed when they changed out the oldest daughter for the other actress and it took me a bit to like the series again. I'm sad to hear that he isn't so harsh on his political views this season. With the current state of affairs, this seems like the prime time to get some good jabs in, all in the name of comedy!
Deleteshe left the show herself, methinks. The new one is especially horrible in the new season since half of her head is shaved of! You wouldn't believe it.... I think he was forced to calm it all down because ABC is probably finally planning on taking the sitcom under their wing, after six years of it being syndicated
