As you know, when your trusted spy isn't spying for you around the world, he is working as a translator of world's biggest best sellers and although that job can be painfully difficult it never got me into such a pickle like these poor sods in the first trailer for French movie THE TRANSLA- TORS (Les Traducteurs) which, starring Lambert Wilson, Olga Kurylenko, Eduardo Noriega and Alex Lawther, hits French cinemas January 29th! I don't have much to offer you today, but what I do have is quite dynamic and plus it has our dearest Russian star Olga Kurylenko in it! The first trailer and posters for her action packed movie THE COURIER are in. The film which sees her playing a courier in London who discovers that one of the packages she's transporting is a bomb, has a rather strong cast with William Moseley, Gary Oldman and Dermot Mulroney also starring in it with her. The film is set to be released November 22nd in USA (both the net and cinemas) and then in Russia and United Kingdom in December.

She also signed up to star together with our dear British chap Leo Suter in science fiction movie GATEWAY 6 about a squad of soldiers which is stranded on an abandoned military base on a near future Earth waiting for the relief or the enemy, whichever comes first.

After Crazy Rich Asians became the first big Asian romcom done by major US studios, will a big gay romance movie be the next step? Variety reports today that Universal has set Nick Stoller to direct an untitled romantic comedy which would see Billy Eichner both writing and starring in the story of two gay men who have commitment problems and are attempting a relationship. Judd Apatow is producing. Billy Eichner, who is openly gay privately as well, is currently starring in Netflix comedy series Friends from College and will also lend his voice to crazy meerkat Timon in Disney's live action version of The Lion King directed by Jon Favreau. He was nominated for an Emmy award three times for his own sketch series.

A few years ago when one of Dan Brown's new books was sold to foreign publishers, their translators from all the bigger markets were flown to Italy and locked there in a villa for two months without any contact with the outside world so that no information would leak about the new book.
