Netflix is already preparing their festive romcoms for next year's holiday season and they have cast Jared Padalecki and Leighton Meester as leads in the new adaptation of THE BODYGUARD by Katherine Center. He will play a famous actor who hires a bodyguard to protect him from a stalker,
but to keep his family from worrying, he has the bodyguard pretend to be his girlfriend. As the situation escalates, the facade wanes and the feelings between the two characters become increasingly real. Andie MacDowell, Walker Hayes, Noah LaLonde and Toby Sandeman also star.
