A BATTLE AGAINST DESTINY
Following their obsession with all things Asian, Netflix has released a trailer for their Asian historical movie UPRISING which will bring epic battles to the streamer
October 11th. Directed by Sang Man Kim it is set during the rule of the Joseon Dynasty, following two friends who grew up together, one the master and one the servant, as they reunite after the war as enemies on opposing sides.

THE STORY
Set in the Joseon era during a tumultuous time in the
aftermath of war, the films takes a journey through the lives of two
childhood friends-turned-adversaries: Cheon Yeong (Gang Dong-won), a
slave with remarkable martial prowess; and Jong Ryeo (Park Jeong-ming),
Cheon Yeng's master and scion of Joseon's most influential military
family. Cha Seung-won stars as King Seonjo in the South Korean epic
movie.
I guess I would never be a fan of anything Korean...my mom loves their tedious long drama series...I can't stand any of it.

DeleteI've watched a couple of Korean costume dramas and really liked them. Love Between Fairy and Devil was so good. I would probably check this one out.

DeleteI can't get into Netflix's Asian streams. My mom loves them though. She's even learning some Korean along with it.
