THE FAMOUS FIVE TRAILER
FOR NEW BBC ADAPTATION
BBC has released a trailer for the first of the three TV movies based on THE FAMOUS FIVE classic by Enid Blyton. The first movie will air on CBBC December 9th and also on Stan in Australia, and on BBC One around New Year's Eve. The story follows five daring young explorers as they encounter treacherous, action-packed adventures, remarkable mysteries, unparalleled danger and astounding secrets. It will also air on ZDF in Germany.
This is for sure something for the whole family. We have been trying to watch some holiday movies...o man, so far they are just garbage...yesterday we started Catering Christmas...we both couldn't even watched for 10 minutes. Thinking of you this morning when I bought 2x2kg organic Hokkaido for 1 Euro at the farmer market :-)) It's really crazy, sometimes I had to pay 2 euro for a small one.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great price indeed. I actually had regular squash mash for lunch today.
DeleteI started Christmas movies last Sunday and I watched Designing for Christmas, thought it was lovely, loved the leads, two very cute people. Will continue next Sunday.
That sounds like it could be fun.
ReplyDeleteThere is a dog in it.
DeleteI’ll skip this one, but it’s nice to see something the whole family can watch together being offered.
ReplyDeleteYes, not something you have in America.
DeleteUnfortunately, not. I did go against your review and ended up watching Tim Allen's Santa Clause series on Disney this month. We all actually liked that one. The movies were getting to be unwatchable by the time the 3rd one was done, but I think they turned it around with the series. We're looking forward to a season 3 if they make one.
DeleteI quit Santa Claus after the second episode, it was just too boring and not funny at all, don't know what made you laugh in it. I also erased Bilodeau's festive sitcom, it made me sleepy after the second episode so I decided not to finish it even though he is cute as button in it.
DeleteWe didn't really laugh in Santa Clause, but thought it was just a cute family holiday watch. I do think Tim has scaled back on his comedic tones over the years. Probably scared of pissing off the liberal crowd too much and getting canceled altogether.
DeleteOh, what a disappointment with Jean Luc. I was going to dive into that one next week. Cute as a button or not, I can't with the boring shows these days.
Tim said he has a plan of Home Improvement return but with him and the grandkids. Hope it happens now that Frasier has been such a success.
DeleteThat would be such a treat! I don't think the boys would reprise their roles though. The oldest one has been in and out of jail a lot recently. I think the middle one only does small jobs here and there, and the youngest quit acting altogether.
DeleteThat is why it would be with grandkids not kids.
DeleteI know, but I wonder how they would pull it off with just the grandkids. I think the audience would expect some kind of cameo from the sons. You could easily get away with one of the boys not coming to see their parents, but 3 would be tough to pull off.
DeleteIt is doable, like in the Frasier, where you do not have Niles and Daphne, but you have their son David, who is by the way cute as button and the sweetest character in the new series, fell in love with him in first five minutes of the first episode LOL
