'MEDICI THE MAGNIFICENT'
THE FINAL SEASON OF THE EPIC SERIES STARTS NEXT WEEK
|
Netflix will air the series around the world |
Medici: The Magnificent was definitely a far cry from the marvellous first season
Medici: Masters of Florence, having none of its great cast and masterful storytelling, as its lead star
Daniel Sharman showed a rather shocking lack of acting chops, charisma and any kind of expression or even screen presence, and given that Italian National Broadcaster has decided to air all episodes of the final third season
MEDICI THE MAGNIFICENT: FINAL SEASON aka The Beauty and the Power (titled in Italy
Medici: Nel Nome della famiglia) in just two weeks to be quicker done

The final season starts tomorrow in Italy |
2nd and 3rd on RAI and then the last four on December 9th and 10th.
Netflix will air the eight episodes at the beginning of 2020 in the rest of the world as their original series!
Who Is In The Family?

Great review!
ReplyDeleteGlad you think so!
DeleteAnother one for me, I think☺
ReplyDeleteThey always have great costumes in it!
DeleteIndeed, charisma and stage/screen presence are everything.
ReplyDeleteHistorical dramas are well worth watching. They offer such a good visual show with rich costumes and set designs, interesting characters, great atmosphere, and captivating plot!
And watching historical dramas it is always interesting seeing how nothing has really changed in humanity from then till now essentially. We're pawns in the same plots.
DeleteWith your five star review on the lead, I may have to skip this one. lol The poster also gives me the creeps. They look like modern day people wearing a costume and discovering a ghost at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHe is really terrible, and not just because I loved Dicky Madden in the first season so much. Sharman is simply a talentless actor and the casting in the last season is filled with bland looking zombie brats :)
DeleteI still haven't watched an episode in this series, but it sounds like it's time to put this one to bed, especially if they are rushing the airing of the episodes.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad as the first season was my favourite epic series of the decade :( Everything Italians did after that was terrible, I remember feeling suicidal depression while trying to watch Name of the Rose series, especially Torturro's horrid acting. I did hear Witcher will be amazing, so that is my only hope for this year.
DeleteI remember you loved the first season. It's such a shame that they couldn't keep the momentum going :( We are so looking forward to Witcher. Of course, I'll wait until the season is wrapped and binge watch, so you'll have to let me know what you think once you start watching. We'll need Dezzy's official seal of approval before starting :)
DeleteI think the whole season will be available right away, isn't that how Netflix works?
DeleteYou're right. Netflix does air an entire season in one sitting. It's hulu that you have to wait on.
DeleteRight, they do divide seasons sometimes into two halves, maybe they will do it with Witcher, but I don't think so.
