We have two new exciting casting updates from "X-Men: First Class". According to "MovieWeb" Fox is negotiating with Michael Fassbender about the role of young Magneto in "X-Men: First Class" which already has James McAvoy, as the young Charles Xavier or Professor X. The only problem is that Columbia has also set their eyes on Fassbender and they want him to play the villain in the upcoming "Spider-Man" reboot, so Fassbender will have to choose.
Another news says that young actress Rosamund Pike has auditioned for the role of Emma Frost in "X-Men: First Class". She was apparently seen visiting the casting producer who worked with "First Class" director Matthew Vaughn on "Kick-Ass" and "Stardust" and who will probably do the casting for "X-Men" as well. According to "MovieWeb" Rosamund Pike was spotted there carrying an Emma Frost comic with her.
Dezmy, don't you wish the role of Magneto goes to Aaron Johnson?
ReplyDeleteno, he can play Cyclops if he wants to :) I prefer Fassy as Magneto!!!
ReplyDeletethese actors give the film credability - or ruins the actors credability...

it's true, but somehow I don't think this one will ruin McAvoy's or Fassbender's career :)
ReplyDeleteEh, I'm tired of X-Men, I mean, they made three movies PLUS Wolverine's. It's time to let it rest.
ReplyDeleteWow did you see your new survey's results. You got assaulted by hordes of fans again!
ReplyDeleteWould love Fassbender alongside James McAvoy, it's a bit weird seeing all these serious actors getting cast in fluffy blockbuster franchises.
@Dawn
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they have your support :P
@Castor
well, that's what happens when you have someone's fanblog in your blogroll. I think this is bigger then horde, this is a whole army.
When it comes to serious actors - well they have to earn money as well, I guess.
Will the rumors never end...?
ReplyDeleteThe world would be boring without rumors :)
