The first trailer for this summer's biggest superhero adventure GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY has been finally revealed! The movie follows five unlikely galaxy heroes who are all on separate paths. Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) is piloting the Milano spacecraft, while in possession of a mysterious orb, and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) has ties to the villainous Thanos, who was revealed at the end of Marvel's The Avengers. They all meet in the space prison Kylin, where they proceed to break out together and go on a journey to Knowhere, a well-known alien hangout. They meet up with The Collector (Benicio Del Toro), while trying to evade villains Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), who both want Star-Lord's orb. Bradley Cooper is lending voice to Rocket Raccoon, while Vin Diesel is talking tree Groot! Dave Bautista is Drax the Destroyer, Michael Rooker is Yondu, Djimon Hounsou is Korath, John C. Reilly and Glenn Close are heads of Nova Corps. August 1st is the release date!

Her Cinematic Highness Helen Mirren, who won a BAFTA last weekend, is negotiating to take the lead role in THE GOLDEN LADY which will be directed by MY WEEKEND WITH MARILYN helmer Simon Curtis. According to 'Daily Mail', the movie, based on a true story, would tell the story of Maria Altmann, a Jewish refugee who launched a legal battle back in the 1980s in order to reclaim five paintings by Gustav Klimt which were stolen by the Nazis. Among those paintings was 'The Lady In Gold', portrait Of Adele Bloch Bauer I, which is worth over $130 million.

She’s an excellent, intuitive nurse and a tough customer who doesn’t put up with any crap from anyone.

Digital Spy reports that British actress Sienna Miller will take the lead role in the new adaptation of a Jane Austen novel. Her book LADY SUSAN will get a big screen adaptation titled LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP. The comedy drama will be directed by Whit Stillman and will see Sienna playing Lady Susan, a widow who searches for a husband for herself and one for her daughter. The cast will also include Chloe Sevigny. The movie is to be shot in Irish countryside this summer.

LADY SUSAN is actually a short epistolary novel. It was published almost a hundred years after it was written because Jane Austen never really submitted it for publication.  All of Lady Susan's suitors in the novel are younger than her which is unusual for Austen who usually liked to marry off her characters to older men.

You know I'm not a fan of the genre, but it seems we shall have an action movie day today at HOLLYWOOD SPY! Firstly, GAME OF THRONES star Ed Skrein will take over the lead role from Jason Statham in the reboot of action movie TRANSPORTER. The story which follows a transporter Frank Martin, whose job is to transport goods and ask no questions, will again have a story set down at French Riviera! 'Variety' reports that the producers are currently also searching for a senior thespian who would play Martin's father. The $30 million film will be produced by Luc Besson! The previous three movies in the franchise have earned more than $200 million around the world.

Deadline reports that we shall also see Olivia Wilde in some action scenes since she will both produce and star in MEADOWLAND a psychological thriller in which she plays a mom whose son disappears, a jolt that puts her on an unexpected and dangerous path toward acceptance as she seeks out a relationship with a neglected boy and watches it take an unexpected turn.
TOM CAVANAGH JOINS 'THE FLASH' SHOW
And over at the small screens, Tom Cavanagh will experience some lab action in THE FLASH upcoming series. He has joined CW's superhero pilot, an origin story about Barry Allen, aka The Flash (Grant Gustin), a Central City assistant police forensics investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. Cavanagh will play Harrison Wells, a rock star in the world of physics and the mind and money behind Central City’s S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator whose explosion will create world's fastest superhero!

Other action news come from the preproduction of TERMINATOR GENESIS where they have apparently brought the candidates for the role of Kyle Reese down to SPARTACUS star Jai Courtney and Boyd Holbrook from OUT OF THE FURNACE. As you remember from previous instalments Kyle Reese is a soldier sent over from the future to protect Sarah Connor with whom he later on gets a son John Connor, the future resistance leader. Jason Clarke has already been cast as John Connor with GAME OF THRONES star Emilia Clarke playing Sarah Connor. The movie is scheduled for July 2015!

With over 100,000 sailors and 1500-plus vessels, Ching controlled the South China Sea while taking on the Imperial Chinese navy, the Portuguese navy, and the all powerful British navy to eventually conquer them all. The series will be produced by Steven Jensen who is also preparing mini series on HANNIBAL BARCA of Carthage for History!

FX is planning REDSHIRTS sf TV show! Based on John Scalzi's Hugo Award winning novel  which is set in the 25th century, the story follows the adventures of five new recruits on the Starship Intrepid who come to realize that the ship’s crewmembers are dying at an alarming rate. While Rydal visits the MacFarlands' hotel, Chester presses him to help move an unconscious body. Rydal helps, but eventually gets caught up in ensuing events. Casting changes for THE INTERN comedy: Anne Hathaway has replaced Reese Witherspoon as Robert De Niro's partner in the new comedy to be directed by Nancy Meyers. Hathaway will play a boss in a huge fashion company to which a retired man (Robert De Niro), who was once a successful businessman himself, is assigned as an intern. He quickly becomes a very important link at his new workplace and also an important part of his new boss' life.

JENNIFER ANISTON IN 'CAKE'
A rather interesting script will be seen in CAKE too in which Jennifer Aniston will play a woman who becomes fascinated by Nina, a woman in her chronic pain support group, but she must face her own personal tragedy when she discovers Nina's suicide and develops a relationship with Nina's husband.

SALMA HAYEK IN 'SEPTEMBERS OF SHIRAZ'

Meanwhile, another gorgeous Hollywood lady, Salma Hayek will star in THE SEPTEMBERS OF SHIRAZ with fellow Oscar nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo. Based on Dalia Sofer's novel and produced by Gerard Butler, the movie will focus on a Jewish family in Iran around the time of the Islamic Revolution.
