I must confess I rarely watch anything on Netflix, but I do like it when they give us something apocalyptic. Today we have a very atmospheric and scary first trailer for thriller movie THE LAST HOUSE from Louis Leterrier which will be available for streaming August 7th! Greta Lee and Wagner Moura star in the original sci-fi thriller about a family who are mysteriously sealed into their home with no way out. If that doesn’t sound nightmarish enough, their resources are running thin, and they must work together to survive not only a lack of essentials but also the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped inside. And the lock down does not last for days or weeks, but for years! Check out the intriguing trailer below and tell us what you think.
Funny how they don't block it to evil trolls over there, I posted a lovely comment under the new trailer for Rozhdeniye Imperiyi sending love to Russians from Vojvodina and immediatelly there were at least five or six trolls leaving nasty comments underneath it with hate towards Russia and Vojvodina. There are Fascists everywhere and they especially hate it when you share love.
Dezmond, I think I'm going to have to reserve a permanent spot in my schedule just to keep up with your posting pace lately. This no longer feels like a blog, it feels more like the Barcelona Marathon. That said, this one definitely caught my attention. I've watched the trailer and it looks really good. The idea of being trapped inside your own house for years is unsettling enough on its own, so I'm afraid this one has just earned a place on my watchlist. And today I almost feel like sending you one of my extra-long hugs, just in case you manage to publish yet another post before the day is over.
We actually had a very slow last week LOL but yesterday I had three pieces of news and two today. You know I always post mornings and evenings when there is material.
I might post another one in the evening LOL if there is enough news :) Returning the extra long hug.
I feel sorry for the houses that don't have seeds to plant food. Then again, I only have a few veggie seeds stockpiled myself, so we'd be living off of tomatoes and squash for years.
I would worry about if the electricity kept working. We have a well and need electric for it to pump to the house, so when the power goes out, we don't have access to water. Well, we do because we have a generator, but without the generator, we'd be out of luck.
We don't have neither the well nor a generator LOL Generators are not something we have here as we don't have powercuts as often as you do, so we are doomed in the case of an apocalypse. Our sixth by size city in t he country hasn't had drinking water in about 20 years and nobody is doing anything about it, they can use it for washing, not for drinking.
GIVE SOME LOVE TO YOUR DEZZY :) DON'T FORGET THAT BLOGGER'S NEW COMMENT BOX OFTEN REQUIRES FOR YOU TO DISABLE PROTECTION ON YOUR BROWSER IN ORDER TO COMMENT.
The poster alone looks already quite creepy...trapped inside for years...I wonder what they eat...
ReplyDeleteYou have it in the trailer, Geez Louise, they planted veggies in the room after removing floors to get to the soil.
DeleteWagner Moura é um excelente ator não é só porque é brasileiro, fiquei curiosa, Dezmond boa semana abraços.
ReplyDeleteHope you will enjoy his role in this one.
DeleteWhat a pity I can't watch the trailer. YouTube is blocked again in my country.

ReplyDeleteAt least it seems they had a full fridge and well stocked pantry, I only have three days supplies LOL
