SF TV SERIES ORDERED BY PRIME VIDEO
Prime Video has ordered a brand new TV series version of popular STARGATE movie which was already turned into two TV series before. This time Martin Gero will write, direct and executive produce it and Dean
Devlin and Roland Emmerich who created the original movie will also be executive producers. As you know Stargate is a military sci-fi franchise that centers on the Stargate, an ancient ring-shaped device that creates a stable wormhole, enabling near-instantaneous travel across the cosmos.

A new Stargate series? Yes! I loved the movie and series of Stargate. I would for sure watch this.
ReplyDeleteI am emotionally attached to the movie because it was the first blockbuster that played in our cinemas after USA lifted sanctions over my country which lasted for ten years or so, most of my childhood.

DeleteFor some reason, my SF fan husband ain't interested in Stargate series, which has been running on our SF channel..He likes star Trek, and has been watching them again and again..but distastes Star War..
ReplyDeleteStargate shows were cheap and trashy, unlike the original film itself which was groundbreaking at the time. I also prefer Trek to Wars, but even Trek shows have been destroyed, the latest season of Strange New Worlds is almost sleep inducing, sadly.
