AMAZING NEW GAME OF THRONES PICTURES
A few days ago I posted amazing new character pictures for the third
season of GAME OF THRONES but now I have some more photos featuring the
main characters from the epic show. You can see brilliant Richard Madden
as Robb Stark King of the North, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen
Dragon queen, Kit Harington as Jon Snow, Robb's half-brother, and
Nikolaj Coster Waldau as Jaime Lannister with Lena Headey as his sister
Cercei and Michelle Fairley as Catelyn Stark. With the full scale war
that continues between the houses Stark, Lannister and Baratheon, and
between the remaining great houses Greyjoy, Tully, Arryn, and Tyrell,
the third run of the HBO epic show will see a very ancient evil
awakening in the farthest north. Amidst the war and political confusion,
a neglected military order of misfits, the Night's Watch, is all that
stands between the realms of men and icy horrors beyond! The new season
is scheduled to start March 31 in USA and within the next week
worldwide!
GAME OF THRONES PREQUEL?
It is also interesting that talking to IGN George R.R. Martin
confirmed that there are talks for a prequel to GAME OF THRONES which
would be set hundred years before the events in the current show and
would be based on his novellas "The Hedge Knight", "The Sworn Sword"
and "The Mystery Knight", set in the same world, in the world of
Westeros, but a few centuries earlier, following two characters called
Dunk and Egg. Those stories are more adventurous and lighter in tone
than GAME OF THRONES. Spin-offs are kinda trendy these days, ONCE UPON A
TIME is about to get its WONDERLAND spin-off with the Mad Hatter in the
lead role, and SPARTACUS could also get its CAESAR spin-off in the
future. VAMPIRE DIARIES are getting their own ORIGINALS spin-off next
season.
SPIES OF WARSAW
Another video for you today is for BBC's mini series SPIES OF WARSAW which are coming to BBC America April 3rd! Based onAlan Furst’s acclaimed novel, this is a thrilling spy story set in Poland, Paris and London in the years leading up to the Second World War. The drama finds French and German intelligence operatives locked in a life-and-death struggle. At the French embassy, the new military attaché, Colonel Jean Francois Mercier (David Tennant), a decorated hero of the 1914 war, is drawn into a world of abduction, betrayal and intrigue in the diplomatic salons and back alleys of Warsaw. At the same time, the handsome aristocrat finds himself in a passionate love affair with Anna (Janet Montgomery), a Parisian lawyer for the League of Nations. Their complicated love affair intensifies as German tanks drive through the Black Forest.

ReplyDeleteonly in early talks, so hold your horses, Cowboy :)
DeleteI enjoyed David as the Doctor.
ReplyDeleteNever watched the show, but I know people lurv it :)
DeleteNever, in all of the 50 years it's been on. Wow. It's great fun.
Deletewell I'm not 50 years old :)
DeleteI tried once, but found it non appealing. It was an Agatha Christie episode of it.
It's been a staple in my life since I was little. I'm so glad they did the reboots so I could share that with The Spawn.
Deleteit's lovely when parents have fave shows with their kids, Annzie
DeleteI think Justin Timberlake would make a great Oscars host!
ReplyDeleteMe too, he has it all and even more!
Deleteme loves dragons... yeah for dragons!
ReplyDeletewe lurv them almost as much as we lurv coons and possums, but not as much.... but certainly more than pesky merecats!
DeleteEmilia is one of the most beautiful women I've seen. All the photos are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI hope Justin gets to be the host. Its nice to see young talent moving up in the world of entertainment.
.......dhole
Yep, and he can't be any possibly worse than Seth was this year.
DeleteJustin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon should host the Oscars together. They're very funny when they get together.
ReplyDeleteCool pictures for Game of Thrones! Love the dragon pics. And I think I'll check out that Spies of Warsaw when it comes on. Looks good. :)
we do love us dragons, don't we? :) Even when they're not actually present in a certain novel :)
DeleteThey're just as powerful on a metaphorical level! They just don't photograph as brilliantly. :)
Deleteyep, scared of flashes :)
DeleteI am one of the few people on earth who totally does not get the appeal of Justin Timberlake. I mean at all!!! He always looks dirty to me like he needs a shower. Perhaps if I bathed him I would find something appealing, but since that ain't gonna happen I just have to remain in the minority.
ReplyDeletehmmm.... bathing Justin..... thanks for a lovely dream, sister :)
DeleteMy like for Justin Timberlake seems to wane as I get older - even though he seems to get more popular.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one NOT on the Game of Thrones bandwagon?
nope, I don't like GAME OF THRONES either, overly dark and grim, but we still love the dragons :)
DeleteSame here, Az.
DeleteJustin has matured into quite a handsome and talented man. When he was first starting out I underestimated him as just another pretty face.
ReplyDeleteSpies of Warsaw is one I will certainly want to see. The topic is fascinating and I absolutely adore Tenant. He is by all accounts a very sweet and kind person. And he's Scottish, so there you go.
I always had faith in him, I often predict future stars :)
DeleteOooh, we do love anything Irish, Scottish or Welsh, dahlink!
warsaw seems promising
ReplyDeletesure does
DeleteI think anyone that hosts the Oscars is going to be harshly judged, but I think JT could do it. He's so multitalented. He is one of my favorite hosts on Saturday Night Live.
ReplyDeleteOnly if they're vulgar and primitive like Seth was. Hugh Jackman was praised as the host.
DeleteJustin Timberlake is a cool guy. I've got a feeling he doesn't think he's all that. Great suit, too.
ReplyDeleteit's a lovely suit, isn't it? :)
DeleteI love suits, Dezzy. except when the word refers to people who ar called suits.
Delete...see now I get all upsetttt
Deletewould you believe that I've never owned a suit nor wore one :)
DeleteLove, love David Tennant and will watch everything that he is in, even when he plays a rat bastard like Bartie Crouch in HP.
ReplyDeleteThose GoT pics are so gorgeous and I would love to see Timberlake host the Oscars. I adore him.
we do like the GOT pics, don't we? :)
