But don't come Trick or Treating at our door due to World Economic Crises ;)

"THE SECRET HISTORY OF TOM TRUEHEART" JUMPS ONTO THE BIG SCREEN

According to "The Hollywood Reporter" family adventure "The Secret History of Tom Trueheart", based on Ian Beck's young -adult novel, will be made into a film.
The book centers on Tom Trueheart, a timid boy, living in the shadow of his six brothers — all named Jack. These same six fabled, heroic Jacks who had carried out all of the toughest, scariest, and most romantic and exciting adventures which have happened so far in the Land of Stories. The 'Story Bureau' gives each of the same-named lads a 'beginning' and sends them off to complete the tales through their adventures. When the brothers fail to return home, the Bureau sends Tom a letter on the morning of his 12th birthday, summoning him to find his siblings. Through the third-person narrative that follows the various brothers, readers learn that the Jacks have been kidnapped by Julius Ormestone, the writer whose task is to create the Bureau's story openings and who is tired of the adventurers getting all the credit.
Ian Beck has incorporated humorous associations to many famous fairy tale characters like Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Cinderella, the frog-prince and Rapunzel and the whole story culminates in a final showdown at the giant's palace atop a beanstalk.

JERRY BRUCKHEIMER BRINGS "SHATTERED UNION" TO THE BIG SCREEN

It seems that Jerry Bruckheimer has hired J. Michael Straczynski to adapt "Shattered Union" into a Disney movie.
According to "Variety", in the computer game the states secede from the U.S.A. and form their own governments that wage a civil war against each other after Washington D.C. is wiped out in a nuclear blast and chaos ravages the nation. Players control one of the warring group of states ( the California Commonwealth, Republic of Texas and New England Alliance are some of them ) or a European peacekeeping unit sent to reunify America.
Sounds interesting enough to me. Instead of going around the world and breaking and destroying other countries, it would be nice to see U.S.A. experiencing the taste of its own medicine. On the big screen, of course :)

HUGH JACKMAN WON'T HOST 2010 OSCARS!

Although everybody loved him, and although he said he would do it again, Hugh Jackman will not host next year's Oscars.
According to "MovieWeb" "Jackman, who is currently starring in the Broadway play 'A Steady Rain' alongside Daniel Craig, had reportedly turned down the offer in the past few weeks. Jackman won't rule out ever hosting the awards gala again, but it was said that he didn't want to host the ceremony for two years in a row."
I guess now, the crazy race for the new host will start, but I'm not so optimistic. I personally didn't like De Generes, Stewart nor Steve Martin. But I did like Crystal and Goldberg.

FIRST POSTER FOR "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON"

The first poster for "How to Train Your Dragon", possibly one of the most adorable upcoming animated movies, is just out. Coming in spring 2010 with voices of Gerard Butler and America Ferrera it tells the story of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, heir of the Viking chiefdom, but a boy with one very big problem: a hero he is not. "How to Train Your Dragon' is the riotous story of Hiccup's quest to hunt down the fiercest dragon, bring it into submission, and-hopefully-pass his initiation. Instead, he ends up with the smallest, most ornery dragon-it's even toothless! Thus begins the hijinx of the world's most lovable, unlikely hero and a most reluctant "beast." Packed with energetic drawings and plenty of action, this boisterous tale is just right for fantasy fans or anyone with a spirit of adventure. The movie is based on the book by Cressida Cowell.

NEIL MARSHALL OR NEILL BLOMKAMP REPLACING PETER BERG AT THE HELM OF "DUNE"???

Bad, bad news people, real bad! It seems that an anticipated remake of Frank Herbert's fantasy saga "Dune" has undergone some helm changes again.Apparently director Peter Berg will not direct the remake.
Although the remake is still in the works, Josh Zetumer is writing the film now, and Paramount is searching for a new director. There are rumors that directors Neil Marshall and Neill Blomkamp are in consideration to take over. There were also some truly scary reports that Robert Pattinson was in talks to star in the film, but that was connected with Berg directing the movie, so it's unclear if he still might join the project or not.
I hate this news. Although I'm not a fan of Peter Berg I liked his idea of making a more adventurous and action packed "Dune" instead of the original mystic philosophical sf drama. I'm not sure if these new contenders for the directorial seat share his vision. And I can't even explain how scary it is imagining Pattinson in the lead role.

"MAMMA MIA" HERE WE GO AGAIN?!? AMANDA SEYFRIED REVEALS THE SEQUEL IS ON THE WAY

According to "MovieWeb" one of the last year's biggest sleeper hits might get a sequel, if we can believe one of the film's stars. In one of her last interviews young Amanda Seyfried has revealed, in a mysterious way, that a sequel to the 2008 musical "Mamma Mia!" might get shot in near future.
Here's what she says: "I've been talking to some insiders and it's not something that they haven't been working on. I don't actually know anything other than that. I know it's still going to be Abba music, because what else would it be? Come on, I wouldn't do 'Mamma Mia 2' without Benny and Bjorn."
Although I had found the direction of the musical a bit hollow and shallow, I did enjoy the music and most of the actors, plus the sets created at the beautiful Greek seaside were absolutely stunning, so I wouldn't really mind a second part to this story, but hopefully with another director.

CHARLIZE, KATE AND MARIAH WIN OUR "BEST WHEN NOT LOOKING THEIR BEST" POLL TOGETHER

The surprise outcome of our first BEST WHEN NOT LOOKING THEIR BEST poll, honoring actresses who are brave enough to reduce their natural gorgeousness in order to create amazing roles, brings us three winners :) Charlize Theron, Kate Winslet and Mariah Carey all had 23% of votes.
Charlize Theron, one of the sexiest actresses in Hollywood, decided to shock everyone by portraying a masculine prostitute who becomes a serial killer in "Monster". It payed off, since she won an Oscar for the role.
Kate Winslet has always been a woman comfortable with her body and her looks. She even became a role model for all the women who refuse to look anorexic just for the sake of being trendy and stylish. In "Iris" she portrays physically unattractive novelist Iris Murdoch and creates a breathtaking role which brought her an Oscar nomination.
Mariah Carey has shocked everybody this year when after a series of horrible roles in insignificant movies, she decided to show her true talent by portraying an ordinary social worker in "Precious". The fact that she managed to strip off her divalicious attitude and star looks, might even bring her an Oscar nomination next year, since most critics agree that her role represents a true gem in this year's cinematic offer.
The second round of our BEST WHEN NOT LOOKING THEIR BEST poll starts today, with even stronger competition between five stunning actresses who proved that they can be most beautiful even when looking their worst.

JASON MOMOA JOINS "A GAME OF THRONES" AS KHAL DROGO

George R.R. Martin, the author of famous epic fantasy saga "A Game of Thrones" has just published in his blog that they've finally found an actor who will play the intrepid horselord, Khal Drogo of the Dothraki, in the upcoming HBO mini series. The search for the right Khal was exhaustive, and included auditions on four separate continents. As with several other parts, there were a lot of great readings, and the producers had several interesting choices. The final nod went to Jason Momoa, who is best known to television viewers for his roles on "Stargate Atlantis" and "Baywatch".
According to R.R. Martin Jason's auditions were terrific, displaying all the fierceness that Khal requires, but showing warmth and tenderness in the softer scenes as well.
"Khal Drogo was the last of the speaking roles to be filled, so the cast is now complete... until and unless the show gets picked up to series, when we'll start the process all over again to find Littlefinger, Varys, Ser Barristan, Renly, Loras, Hodor, Lord Tywin, and all the rest of our merry company", concludes Martin in his personal blog.

MAIN CHARACTERS OF MARCUS NISPEL'S "CONAN" REVEALED

"Moviehole" has just revealed first information about the main characters in Marcus Nispel's 2010 adaptation of "Conan".
Conan will be in his early 30's, being the last of his tribe and having to watch his father die a cruel death, he is determined to avenge his people's slaughter by killing all those who led the attack on them. But in the process of doing that he will also find a new reason to live.
Tamara is beautiful, studious, a novitiate of a Greek influenced monastery. A master of martial arts, she has been trained to be the Queen's servant, bodyguard and best friend. When Khalar Singh, a powerful warlord with ambitions to become the king of Acheron, storms the monastery and captures all of the novitiates, she is separated from Ilira, the one she must protect. With all of her strength and will, Tamara is determined to find and rescue her and that's why she will join Conan.
Khalar Singh is the bad guy driven in his quest to find the Queen of Acheron and has been building an empire to do so. His goal is to find the Queen whose blood will bring life to the demonic minions of Acheron while making himself king of this hellish power.
Ilira is beautiful and fun-loving. She has been hidden away in a monastery since birth since she is the designated queen of Acheron. When Khalar Singh captures her among all of the other novitiates and start the process of killing them to find out which is the real queen, Ilira maintains her courage under unbelievably cruel circumstances.
The shooting of the movie is planned for February at locations in Bulgaria.

EXCLUSIVE NEW POSTERS FOR "SHERLOCK HOLMES" AND "IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS"

Here is the fresh new poster for upcoming film "Sherlock Holmes" with Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr and special character posters for "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" with Jude Law again, Lily Cole, Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Christopher Plummer. The premiere of Arthur Conan Doyle's adaptation is set for Christmas Day with Terry Gilliam's movie hitting USA theaters the very same day :)

GERARD BUTLER IS COMING TO SERBIA!

Yep, Gerard Butler is coming to Serbia! He will star in "Coriolanus", which will start shooting next March in Belgrade. This modern day adaptation of Shakespeare's famous play will be directed by Ralph Fiennes, who will also take the lead male role. Beside Butler and Fiennes, other cast members include William Hurt and Vanessa Redgrave.
The original story follows a Roman General named Gaius Martius Coriolanus who is at battle with Tullus Aufidius, the leader of the Volscian army. In the strange twist of fate they end up working together after Martius is banished from Rome after a failed political career. That's when he teams up with the Volscians to get his revenge on Rome. Apparently Butler will play the contemporary version of the Volscian General Aufidius. He had already played in one of the theater adaptations of this play.
Fiennes has chosen to shoot his directorial debut in Serbia which offers various landscapes ideal for breathtaking sets, has modern film studios and much cheaper professional crew than in USA or other European countries.

SAM WORTHINGTON JOINING "MAD MAX IV: FURY ROAD"?

Here's another Mad Max update this week: according to "MovieWeb" it seems that Sam Worthington will be joining Charlize Theron in the project. "Pre- production is said to begin immediately, with 30 weeks of filming to be completed in Broken Hill starting June of 2010. The project is said to take two-and-a-half years to complete, and it will create thousands of jobs for Australian locals. As reported, Australian Premier Nathan Rees made it a priority to get the film to shoot in his country after losing 'Green Lantern', which was an unexpected blow to the local industry."
If this is true, then, beside being ultra talented and ultra charming, Sam Worthington really is an unbelievably lucky guy scoring lead roles in all the biggest possible projects these days: after "Terminator", "Avatar" and "Clash of the Titans", "Mad Max 4: Fury Road" will be a new starlicious treat for him (and us, off course).

CHARLIZE THERON AND TOM HARDY IN "MAD MAX IV" ?

According to"E!Online" it seems that director George Miller wants Charlize Theron to be the female lead in the new installment of "Mad Max". Off course, the movie is being planned without Mel Gibson, with the leading male role reserved for one of my favourite young actors Tom Hardy ("The Virgin Queen", "Colditz", "Star Trek Nemesis"). He's done an amazing work in the gym recently, preparing for one of his new roles and his muscles are currently very scary, so he could fit nicely in any kind of sf action adventure.
There aren't any other news about the project since Miller is being very secretive about the roles and plot. The talent auditioning for the film have only been given a letter for their character's name. The studio has yet to sign off on Miller's choices, and no formal offers have been made.
So this is still just a rumor, but a nice one :)
And, speaking of Charlize Theron, in one of her recent interviews she said she wouldn't mind playing a Catwoman if Nolan should put her character in the new adventures of Batman.

KIRSTEN DUNST IN JUAN DIEGO SOLANAS' NEW SF MOVIE "UPSIDE DOWN"?

According to "FirstShowingNet" Argentinian filmmaker Juan Diego Solanas is preparing a new alternate reality sf project "Upside Down". He has cast Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst to play in this project. This movie's quite twisted plot was described in "European Film Market" brochure in the following way:
Look up towards the sky and rub your eyes because you won't believe what you see: cities, forests, and oceans with their own inverted gravity, only an arm's length away, yet completely unreachable. Take a leap over to this alternate reality, two worlds – one above, one below - facing each other, and you'll land in the extraordinary world of "Upside Down", the new ground-breaking film of Juan Solanas. Adam is a seemingly ordinary guy in a very extraordinary universe. He lives humbly trying to make ends meet, but his romantic spirit holds on to the memory of a girl he met once upon a time from another world, an inverted affluent world with its own gravity, directly above but beyond reach… a girl named Eve. Their childhood flirtation becomes an impossible love. But when he catches a glimpse of grown-up Eve on television, nothing will get in the way of getting her back… Not even the law or science!
I must say the plot is more than intriguing and promises a visually extraordinary movie, but I just can't seem to picture Dunst in this kind of role. It should've been some bigger actress, but let's give them a benefit of a doubt.

RACHEL WEISZ AND DARREN ARONOFSKY ARE OUR BEST CELEBRITY COUPLE

The winners of the last round of our Best Celebrity Couple Poll are Rachel and Darren. One of the most charming and lovable celebrity couples Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been engaged for years now. Although he is a cult film director known for his edgy and imaginative movies, he won her over with a traditional romantic proposal on bended knee. He even rang Rachel's father to ask permission for her hand in marriage. Then he proposed to her in the middle of New York's Times Square after they've returned from filming "The Fountain" in Montreal, the movie which they did together. Both were raised in Jewish households (he is of Israeli and she's of Hungarian origin) and went to topnotch universities - she went to Cambridge and he studied at Harvard. She ensures her relationship with Darren stays strong by only accepting acting jobs close to where her filmmaker fiance is working. She gave birth to their son Henry in 2006.
The second place in our poll was taken by the newly wedded couple Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, two of the most adorable Hollywood beings. They had just one vote less than the winners and they got married just few weeks ago in France. They've fallen in love while shooting "Evening" more than two years ago and kept their courtship low-key.

TAHAR RAHIM AS THE GAELIC LEADER IN "THE EAGLE OF THE NINTH"

Young actor Tahar Rahim (who became more popular recently with his lead role in Jacques Audiard's "The Prophet", the Grand Prix winner of last spring's Cannes International Film Festival and France's official submission for the Academy Awards) has just joined the cast of Roman epic "The Eagle of the Ninth" which is currently shooting in Hungary. Rahim will portray the Gaelic-speaking Seal Prince, the fearsome leader of a band of warriors who pursue Marcus (Channing Tatum) and Esca (Jamie Bell) through the highlands when accompanied only by his British slave Esca Marcus sets out across Hadrian's Wall into the uncharted highlands of Caledonia - to confront its savage tribes and retrieve the lost legion's golden emblem, the Eagle of the Ninth. Donald Sutherland portrays Marcus' uncle Aquila, who has retired in Britain while Mark Strong is cast as Guern, an ex-soldier who holds crucial information about the Ninth.

"VOGUE'S" AMAZING COVER WITH "NINE'S" LADIES NICOLE KIDMAN, KATE HUDSON, MARION COTILLARD AND PENELOPE CRUZ

November issue of "Vogue" has the girls from the upcoming musicle "Nine" on its cover. Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard and Penelope Cruz are gracing the cover of the popular magazine. Together with movie legends Judi Dench and Sophia Loren, pop star Fergie and Daniel Day Lewis they star in the longly awaited musical directed by Rob Marshall. With so many leading ladies, this movie needed a lot of stunning costumes, so Oscar award winning designer Colleen Atwood ("Memoirs of a Geisha", "Gattaca", "Chicago", "Planet of the Apes") had created couture-like fashions that date back to the ’20s. The ladies will sing and dance in 350 costumes and 200 pairs of shoes using a lot of frills, satin, lace, sexy pants and floating dresses combined with unavoidable ostrich feather fans.
The movie tells the story of Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis), a world famous famous film director as he confronts an epic mid-life crisis with both creative and personal problems. He must balance the many women of his life, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), an American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Fergie) and his mother (Sophia Loren).

JUDE LAW AND ROBERT DE NIRO JOINING "THOR"?!?

This is just a hot gossip, but it seems that Kenneth Branagh's "Thor" could finally get some cool actors in its cast. German actor Matthias Schweighofer, who is in the running for one of the roles, has accidentally revealed in an interview for German GQ that Jude Law and Robert De Niro have already joined the cast. The only problem is that nobody knows which roles are reserved for them, but if it's all true, it seems that after a whole line of obscure or not so interesting actors "Thor's" cast might get some real star power.
The guys from "First Showing net" think that De Niro might even play the mighty Odin himself.

IAN SOMERHALDER IN GOTHIC TALE "CRADLEWOOD"

Young TV star Ian Somerhalder ("Lost" and "The Vampire Diaries") has got himself the main role in the romantic gothic fairy tale "Cradlewood" helmed by Harry Weinmann. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie centers on an Australian woman (Emma Lung) living in Boston with the heir (Ian Somerhalder) to an incredible fortune whose family history is swirled in a legend that tells of a pact made with a demon which ensures that whenever a boy is born into the family, the father is killed. The heir suspects his girlfriend is pregnant, and after strange events occur, he comes to believe he will die if he continues to fall in love.
Michael Shane, the main producer said: "We see this is as almost like an American-style 'Pan's Labyrinth' in look and feel. It's a perfect story for the kids who have outgrown 'Twilight' but want something romantic and scary. Our monster will be quite terrifying: she is sexually attractive and monstrous at the same time."

WENTWORTH MILLER AND LUKE MACFARLANE ARE OUR BEST CELEBRITY LOVE COUPLE THIS WEEK

The winners of the second round of our Best Celebrity Couples poll are Wentworth Miller (37) and Luke MacFarlane (29) with 40% of votes. Although they say they are just best friends, since 2007, nobody believes them. Luke MacFarlane from "Brothers and Sisters" is openly gay and has dated "Grey's Anatomy" star TR Knight before, but "Prison Break's" star Wentworth Miller hasn't come out of the closet yet, so they are keeping their love a secret. They spend a lot of time together, and MacFarlane has even accompanied Miller to Asia when he was filming some adverts there. They both lead reclusive, quiet lives, away from scandals and media. Both of them are educated young men, Miller has a Princeton degree in English literature, while Luke has studied acting at Juilliard.I must say they seem as a very nice, charming and affectionate couple. Imagine how cute their kids would be :)
The second place in this week's poll is shared by two couples with 20% of votes each: American sweethearts Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal and my personal favourites Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend who have been together for many years now.
The third, and the final part of our poll will start immediately, be sure to vote again :)

SAM RAIMI SPILLS NEW UPDATE ON "WARCRAFT MOVIE"

Sam Raimi has just revealed that "Saving Private Ryan" writer Robert Rodat will be writing the "Warcraft" script. Although it was believed that the movie will be an adaptation of the book "Arthas: Rise of the Lich King", it will actually be an original effort based in the universe of the popular online role-playing game, encompassing its lands, characters and storylines, but it won't necessarily be based on the original central characters.
According to Raimi "the hope is to properly capture the Horde and the Alliance and the mythology that takes place in the game, and the archetypes that the game presents. I think we would try and find touchstones within the game to make it accurate and true and choose one or some of the lands that are portrayed in the game with as much accuracy and authenticity as possible."

DEAR LORD, ROLAND EMMERICH IS DOING SHAKESPEARE!

While promoting yet another of his apocalyptic blockbusters, "2012", director Roland Emmerich has shed some light on his upcoming projects. Beside doing an adaptation of Issac Asimov's book "Foundation" he'll also do a new project called "Anonymous", and according to "Movieweb" it will be his next picture. Believe it or not it's about William Shakespeare, and here's what he says about it:
"It's been eight years I've been trying to do this project. It was always supposed to be my next movie but this time I'm really doing it because I'm already set to shoot on March 22nd and I'm the casting process right now which for me is the most kind of nerve-racking because you have to make decisions. And I start shooting in four or five days the first plates in England. It's about how it came to be that William Shakespeare was not the author of his plays. It's not Christopher Marlowe, it's Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford. It's kind of like a political thriller. It's about who will succeed Elizabeth and the cause of that thriller, the Essex Rebellion, and we learn how the plays were written by somebody else.

JOHN WOO DOING MARCO POLO?

It seems that after the success of his Chinese epic "Red Cliff" (which is about to be released in the USA), director John Woo has found himself a new epic project. In an interview for "Movieline" he has revealed his plans to do new, epic adaptation of "Marco Polo" story. He said that he was particularly interested in famous explorer's relationship with Kublai Khan whose emissary he was throughout Asia. Since Woo moved back to China few years ago, it's not quite clear whose project will this be (apparently it will be in English language), but another epic is always welcomed, if you ask me.

REBECCA ROMIJN ON "X-MEN: MYSTIQUE" MOVIE

"Beyond Hollywood" has published a cool story on gorgeous Rebecca Romijn and her character Mystique from "X-Men". Since almost every other hero from the franchise is getting a movie, and there seem to be many spin-offs with Wolverine, Magneto and Deadpool, why not give that sexy blue-skinned villain a movie about her super-hero origins.
Rebecca Romijn who recently gave birth to twins, and is currently enjoying a success with the fresh new show "Eastwick" says the following:"If they talk to me in a year when I have worked off more of the baby weight, we’ll see, but I’ve still got a couple of pounds to go. It’s a great idea but no one’s talked to me about it yet."

SY FY'S "ALICE" MINI SERIES TO AIR IN DECEMBER. SEE THE TRAILER.

SyFy Channel has announced the premiere of its new mini series "Alice" for December 6th. You can watch the teaser trailer over at my YouTube channel.
"Alice" brings the modern day re imagination of the famous Lewis Carrol's tale. The cast includes Kathy Bates, Tim Curry, Colm Meaney, Caterina Scorsone ... The new adaptation will supposedly be quite crazy with very strange twist so the White Rabbit for example will be totally different: he's not just one character but a whole secret organization that works for the Queen of Hearts and abducts people from the real world, so that they can come and gamble in the Queen's casino :) And Alice is not a girl, but a women with all kinds of female problems.

EMILY BLUNT AND JOHN KRASINSKI ARE THE BEST CELEBRITY COUPLE

The winners of the first part of our BEST CELEBRITY COUPLE poll are Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. Gorgeous British actress ("Devil Wears Prada", "Young Victoria", "Wolfman") got engaged to charming "Office" star John Krasinski this summer, but they've been dating since November 2008. Before that she dated popular Canadian singer Michael Buble. When asked how did John propose to her she joked saying: "All I can say is that there were flutes playing in the background, butterflies, there were angels showering us with rainbow drops". They really are the cutest possible couple :)
Second place in our poll is shared by three other celebrity couples: young actors Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum, ultra sexy couple Rebbeca Romijn and her husband Jerry O'Connel, and English rose Kate Winslet with her husband famous director Sam Mendes.

EXCLUSIVE NEW TRAILER FOR "THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS"

The latest trailer for "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" is just in and you can watch it over at my official YouTube channel. You can expect dazzling visuals from this movie, and knowing its director Terry Gilliam, probably a weird and self-centered story.
It is a modern-day fantasy adventure in which Dr. Parnassus has the extraordinary gift of inspiring the imaginations of others. Helped by his traveling theatre troupe, including his sarcastic and cynical sidekick Percy and versatile young Anton, Parnassus offers audience members the chance to transcend mundane reality by passing through a magical mirror into a fantastic universe of limitless imagination. However, Parnassus' magic comes at a price. For centuries he's been gambling with the devil, who is coming to collect his prize - Parnassus' precious daughter, Valentina on her birthday.
The amazing cast includes Heath Ledger, Jude Law, Christopher Plummer, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Lily Cole ...

EXCLUSIVE NEW PICS FROM THE UPCOMING ROMAN EPIC "CENTURION" WITH MICHAEL FASSBENDER

"Empire Magazine" has just published two new pictures from the upcoming Roman epic "Centurion", set in Britain in the 2nd century A.D. in which charismatic Michael Fassbender marches together with the famous 9th legion in order to wipe out the Picts from the face of the world after they've been raiding the Roman frontier for a long time. Fassbender is joined by Olga Kurylenko and Dominic West.
I must say I just love the bluish tone of this movie, it seems we'll sense the cold and grim atmosphere of the ancient Britain right through the big screen.

ULTRA EXCLUSIVE: FIRST TRAILER FOR SYFY CHANNELS NEW ADAPTATION OF "THE PHANTOM" WITH RYAN CARNES

It's finally here, the trailer for SyFy channel's upcoming mini series "The Phantom" is here, and you can watch it over at my official YouTube channel.
Ultra charming Ryan Carnes, who became popular after his famous role in "Desperate Housewives" plays Kit Walker, who after his father's sudden death inherits his super hero mantle. As the new Phantom he vows to fight crime and injustice all around the world.
Beside Ryan Carnes, Isabella Rosellini will guest star as villanous Lithia, the head of an experimental mind control program. The mini series will be broadcast sometime next year.
I must say I wasn't amazed by the trailer. This new adaptation of the famous purple hero looks too contemporary for my taste and looks like any other secret agent/detective show. I haven't seen any of the breathtaking adventure and glamoros splendor of the original Phantom. But since I like Carnes so much I'll give this mini series a benefit of the doubt. After all I like the colour and the costume as well.
